It matters all the same. Scores don’t count more late in the game. If everyone had played as well as him, the score wouldn’t have been close.

They don't have the talent to play like him. They were stupid to pass on getting an NFL running back (like Bell) when they lost their top 2. They they lost Wallace and they still don't have a via second option at WR. If he had a legit NFL running back and a second WR they would have 2-3 more wins.

I basically agree that scores don't count more late in games; however, any win probability calculator take into account score differential and TIME remaining. The things that areally count are plays to improve your win probability late in games - like getting more downs. At the end of that game he threw into double coverage several times instead of taking the high percentage play in the flat - any one of those gets a first and the game is essentially out of reach. The worst was the penultimate play with the game on the line that would have got them 4 more downs and improved their win probability. He literally passed on a cake easy play to Smallwood that would have been >90% complete at that distance with nobody on him. He could have fallen forward for a first or easily bolted out of bounds to save clock. The play he elected to take in the endzone had probably less than 5% of working. After that is when is got stripped.

Another example is that he was getting fooled into taking the checkdowns for some reason. He threw 10 of this 30 completions to Agholor, Clement, and Smallwood for a total of 41 yards. Granted he may be making these decisions based on the fact that his running backs are not great or he does not trust them but looking off an easy play to get more downs is still not the smart play at the end of the game.

I really like him as a player this is only his 3 year so I would LOVE to have him as our QB going forward. I'm not really bashing him but I do not think he played as well as his numbers would suggest.
