Ola hasn't had much chance to play, he'd be in the mix, it's hard to say about FA's because you don't know who will be resigned by their current team and who won't be.
My point is you can't keep all your Free Agents that are going to command top dollar, Dupree is going to command top dollar. I think we can all agree Watt is the better player, does everything better, that's the kind of guy you give top FA dollars to.
Yes. I too want to see what Ola can do over time in the rotation. He got hurt again this week.
You are correct that the FA and cap issue are restrictive. Some folks are pointing to their own perception of his future value. We can all guess at what that number might be, but the market will bear that out if he goes FA. I agree with you, I think the market is going to treat him very well which may well mean we can't afford him. But that is far different than what some are saying is that he isn't worth the money. Someone out there will prove that wrong if he hits FA; I believe he will be in high demand. But, I certainly wouldn't keep him over Watt or Fitzpatrick in the long run, but I would consider him over Hargraves. And I like Gravedigger....one guy I want to see on the field more. I just think he is easier to replace talent wise than an OLB and I also think keeping Dupree and Tuitt together could be a solid duo for years to come. But, yes, it will take some serious accounting magic by KC to make it happen or a serious hometown discount from Dupree.
