If everyone were honest with themselves; 80% of this board and I am being conservative at some point in their lives could have and should have been stopped for DUI. And in all seriousness, as dangerous as it can be, not every DUI is someone slobberingly drunk but just enough to have their motor functions and reaction times slowed a little bit. And we made it home just fine. Most DUI pull overs are BS, 6 times in my 41 years I have gone through a checkpoint or been pulled over at night because I didn't 100% stop at a stop sign or whatever crap they came up with. I was also a bouncer coming off work for a long time, with my dang work shirt on saying Security all over it the first question they asked was how much I had to drink that night. Point being, without being there to see for myself, the dude may have not even been over the presumed limit and still got a DUI. I won't let him slide up or down my board based on the same thing that happened to Hines Ward (oh, it happened AFTER his retirement....but did Hines have "character issues" because of a DUI?) but I would investigate his BAC, his behavior, etc. and let that influence me more.
