Dream scenario for home field throughout the playoffs

One can dream! So many scenarios! We are 3rd seed. If Oakland and the Cheatriots lose, it can happen! I want to go to Heinz Field for my first time! Week 17 still has some things that could change from what I've read. Chiefs, Dolphins? Most likely first round bye for the Cheatriots. Hopefully Steelers win round one. Then who knows after that based on what happens in the Wild Card round. So much fun to make the playoffs again. Then the stress starts again! :) Ugh! It was like the Rat Birds game last night. It took years off of my life!

Ok, not throughout. But if the Steelers beat Oakland on the road I believe, and the Cheatriots lose, it would go back to Heinz Field again. Since 3rd seed would be top with 1 & 2 gone. Ugh, my head hurts! :)

Yes we will most likely play the dolphins at Heinz field for game 1

Then if we win we will travel to Oakland for game 2.... that will not be a good trip even without Carr playing... its hard to win a short week long travel and that could be the scenario

After that if KC or Houston can beat the Pats we would have home field for the AFC CG... but if not its off to patsland where we can be cheated out of another AFC CG
 
Whatever the scenario is, I do NOT want to play the Cheatriots anywhere anytime! They of course cheat and get away with it! And they always have our number at home or on the road! I would obviously love to get through Wild Card weekend. Beat Oakland. And then beat whomever else at home at Heinz Field! Hell, let someone else take the Cheatriots out for us! :)
 
Part of me wants the Patriots. We owe them.

In fact, beating the Pats and beating Green Bay in the SB would be an all-revenge outcome.
 
We can do this! We were the first team in NFL history to come from the 6th seed, win every game on the road, and win the big one for # 5 then! Home field isn't always the clicker. But Heinz Field is a tough place for opponents to play with Steeler Nation in force! What I would do to be there to be a part of it post season!

We more than owe those perennial cheating *******! I love your guys passion like mine. But it's just better for everyone's sanity and health if we don't play them! They always seem to have our number. The refs are always with Tinsel Tom. They are in the locker room stealing our playbook and more. It's just too much to overcome when Goodell sleeps with Kraft, Bellicheat and more!

A #7 is still a 7th whether we go through the Cheaters or not!
 
Playing the Fins concerns me. Would rather play KC. We usually have our way with them.
 
Um, the Raider still have to win next week, to get a bye. but if they lose and the Chiefs win. Chiefs get the 2nd seed. also, the Pats still have to win next week to clinch home field. So we could still play the Pats in the Divisional round.
 
Well if Oakland loses on Sunday the Chiefs will most likely get the #2 seed. Giving the Pats a walk thru vs Oakland without Carr or Houston in the second round. We will have to play the two better teams in Miami and KC if we beat Miami.
 
I don't think Houston can win in Foxboro...but KC probably can. Their offense is pretty damn good. I still think the road will go through Foxboro...and given how the Steelers played New England this season, it is more than possible they can win on their turf.

As for the Super Bowl... Green Bay isn't making it to Houston. Dallas will be the NFC Champs. They really are that good.

Since they are locked into the #3 seed have it been released which day and time the Steelers will play their FIRST playoff game? I am hoping for a Saturday game...

Same here... probably won't know until this coming Sunday night though.

I prefer Saturday at 430 more than anything, but most likely Saturday night because of the Steelers ratings pull

The problem may be that the NFC 3rd seed could be on the west coast in Seattle or the east coast in Atlanta, or GB or Detroit
 
Anyone anywhere. **** those other teams in contention. When the Steelers are on their game they can whoop anyone. The Steelers are in. Just win. Ride Bell and open up for AB. Defense is now stepping it up. I'm not concerned about seeding. Just ******* win
