I admittedly know less than pretty well all on here about the college players. But who are some of the guys that you would just like on the team. A Steeler type player. A guy you hope will be there even if it’s not a top priority of need. A little bit of a man crush.
I’m not even gonna mention OLine players for myself. It might send a signal to Aaron to hurry on back.

In the first round I’m running to the podium or if he drops would consider to move up a notch or two to draft Dillon Thieneman. I think a guy like him would do wonders for our D.
In the second because I know Dillon won’t be there I go with Emmanuel McNeil-Warren. He could be there with luck, and once again would think that he would make a great addition.
I’ve wanted a play making safety for years now,and was pimping Nick Emmanwori last draft.

3rd round could be huge for us if things can work out. For me it would be Bryce Lance as our WR…….Kyle Louis, every Steeler draft should have a LB. And last but not least Darrell Jackson JR. to plug up our porous run defense.

That’s it for me.

I don’t know the college players well enough to make a decision.

I do know we need trench workers.

We also need a QB and I think the best value / risk that we get a shot at is Drew Allar. Risk, but big ceiling possibility.

We can’t just keep sitting on NO QB drafting, or waiting for next year’s draft.

Aaaa-Ron is a mistake that is being made by the owner. MM is buying into it due to the owner speak.

Nor can we take a QB just to take one.

I fully agree here. But we do need to continue to make effort.

A little bit of something beats a whole lot of nothing.

That is why we are in the predicament we are in………. Taking nothing and ending up with Geriatrics.

EDIT: I realize Will Howard is taking something, in the 6th. Injury stopped him dead short.

Steelmann, the two guys I really, REALLY want to become Steelers are DT Dominique Orange (Syracuse) and CB Keionte Scott (Miami). Orange has every tool imaginable to be a force at the 0 or 1, big guy with long arms and made to be a run-stuffer. Scott is talented as hell, great instincts, superb coverage in the slot, and his recent pro day testing showed that he has some of the best physical skills among any CB in this draft.

The wideleft.com big board posted by 448 (post #12) Has Scott as #55, and I don't see Orange on there at all.
