Donte Moncrief - Ike Mongrief - Hands that work like feet

I don't like the sound of this. How in the world is he expecting to catch passes with a dislocated finger? Was this past game not enough empirical evidence to the contrary?

Better yet why wasn't it seen than the finger was still giving him issues. And if seen why did they play him ?

Pretty hard not to notice. Warning - Nasty!

Why the Steelers WR playing percentages need to change in Week 2 vs. the Seahawks
https://www.behindthesteelcurtain.c...-in-week-2-vs-the-seahawks-donte-moncrief-nfl

Personally, I would love to see what the Steelers’ offense would look like with Smith-Schuster, James Washington and Diontae Johnson on the field together. Johnson at least popped on the screen during the game when he was given the opportunity, while we all know what Moncrief brought to the table.

Again, Moncrief could, and hopefully does, bounce back and become a big-time contributor to the offense, but if Week 1 is just the beginning, it could be a slow and painful death regarding his time in Pittsburgh.

The hope is the Steelers don’t spend too much time banging their heads against the proverbial wall. Be willing to make a change, in-game if necessary. If, or should I say when, they decide to give Moncrief another shot, and his performance from Week 1 spills over into Week 2, you have to get him off the field, especially with capable receivers waiting in the wings behind him.

And for goodness sakes, don't they have a doctor that can at least put it back in place?

I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone with this team sometimes.

Maybe because we only had five wrs on the roster up till Saturday and they don’t trust Dionte Johnson yet...

Its a typical stupid decision starting the season

When was the finger dislocated? The captions says in camp. If it happened in Latrobe, they had 2+ weeks to come to the conclusion that they might just need to have someone else ready. They had 2+ weeks to figure out they might want to use Vance more than Switz. I mean, WTF do you go 5 wide in 4th and 1 and throw to the gimpy fingered guy instead of, i dunno, using your pro bowl running back.

Sorry - not venting at you madinsomniac...just venting in general. That was the worst coaching job I have ever seen.

For the life of me I could not figure out the wide receiver rotation. The better players didn't get nearly enough snaps.

If the guy has a severely dislocated finger sit his *** down or make him play special teams. We need guys who can catch the damn ball.

Since I've spent the past week hammering Moncrief for his performance against the Pats,<samp><code></code></samp><samp class="EmbedCode-container"><code class="EmbedCode-code"></code></samp> I want to go on record to say I wish him nothing but the best moving forward. I hope with the grace of God he's able to bounce back in a big way and help us beat the Seahawks on Sunday. I hope his injured finger gets progressively better and he becomes the player the Steelers envisioned when they signed him this summer. Go out and get 'em Donte!

Moncrief has been seen around the Steelers facilities asking people to pull his finger

Good to see you back, Litos.

And check your damn fantasy team!! You can improve your team right-the-****-now by accepting my trade offer.

Well, I tried.

Cut this fool. And while we're at it, cut that other fool Chickillo. No way he should be getting defensive snaps. Ola should immediately take his spot.
