Donte Moncrief - Ike Mongrief - Hands that work like feet

If he was and he was having a bad game then it is Tomlin reasonability to sit him and TRY someone else. Did anyone watch the difference between first half and second half for New Orleans, they changed, Tomlin changes nothing and then takes no accountability for the lose.

There it is! Pull his *** out and play the rookie D. Johnson or for heavens sake play JaWash instead of leaving him on the sidelines. Clueless Tomless!

Moncrief broke his finger or fingers shortly after camp started. Hopefully they are healed now and we don't run into a Limas Sweed thing where he is having issues all season. I'm not too worried after one game. The entire team pretty much sucked.

Chase Williams is reporting that Donte Moncrief left practice Monday with a finger injury. Coach Mike Tomlin referred to the injury as minor and Moncrief could return to action Wednesday. (Chase Williams on Twitter)

Get the son of a ***** off the field if he has hurt fingers. No excuses for the performance

pretty sure they didn't coach him up to drop easy catches or turn the wrong way on a corner route

oh stop it. No one is accountable because of the horrible coaching here for a while now. This is the environment this staff has created. They always start the season slow, this i believe is the piss poor coaching and lax that goes on

The hurt fingers supposedly bothered Sweed an entire season. We can't have that with Moncrief He's being paid to be our No. 2 WR.

so while they were looking at his fingers, did they notice if he had thumbs? fingers and thumbs, to me, would be an integral part of catching the football as a wide receiver.

Donte Moncrief will heretofore be known as "Limas Moncrief".

Didn't Sammie Coates also have a hand/finger issue that affected his ability as well? I cannot exactly remember but it sounds familiar.

coats broke a finger, yes. I read reports it was pretty bad. But that was his last season in Pittsburgh. He had some clangy hands going back to college.

If Moncrief's not healthy and can't catch balls consistantly due to his injured fingers, he should....uhm, rest up and get healed before attempting to, uhm, catch passes. These games count, ya know?

Maybe his career didn't blossom because he was on ****** teams, or maybe those teams were ****** because he was on them...
I Rememmber buying a six pack of Coke and getting a free ticket to the Pittsburgh Condors game.I caught a puck from a Pittsburgh Hornet game and was allowed to keep it. I saw my first HOF game in the early 60's and was privileged to meet and work with and for many Steelers in the last 70 year's. I empathize with all of them at this moment. Worst O and D game plans I've every seen.Steelers used to pull this in the past but always made major changes in the 2nd half.
Always. This team and these coaches seem incapable of thwarting another team's game plan at any stage of the game. Can't think on their feet.Everything is set in stone prior to the game. Nothing changes in game.Should be a chess match, not a set them up and watch them get steamrolled possession after possession. You know what they say about repeating the same thing over and over and expecting a different result? That goes for every 6 minutes as well as every 60. Adapt play by play and game by game.Players were heartless and coaches non-existant.Worst game plans I've ever seen.It was like watching a movie that was written and filmed and played in it's entirety without anyone ever yelling "CUT".

Not sure how the mods can drop the ball on the name of this thread. It needs to be renamed Ike Moncrief already.

Everytime Moncrief dropped another ball I said to the tv, "nice hands, feet".

Because Tomlin's ego is too big to change the gameplan at the half if it isn't working. We were all pissed at The Bruce a few years ago when he said, "We don't let the weather affect our gameplan" after passing all day in below zero wind chill at a game they lost in Cleveland, but Mikey Cool Shades may be just as bad.

Here's my point. Arians is long gone, and two coordinators have followed. Yet that same inability to adjust remains.

Maybe the problem at the time, and now, and forever, is the stupid ******* head coach and not the assistant coaches??

Offense stalling. Go no-huddle? Nope. Go 3 WR, TE, spread the field and bit and try running? Nope. Get the talented TE involved in the passing game? Nope.

Defense getting killed by crossing routes. Try man on outside receivers, single deep, and zone on short routes, slot and RB? Nope. Barron getting killed by White. Try Bush on White? Nope. Try anything other than what has failed 25 times out of 30? Nope.

Just keep doing the same **** that has not worked.

Convince me that he shouldn't get cut from the team on the plane tonight..... GO.

How in the world did they decide to keep him over Diontae Spencer?
Ok I will try to convince you, I'm going to use the Chewbacca defense. Let me prepare my case and I will be back ...
