Don't rule Ben out this week yet!

It's awesome that Ben will be ready for Seattle, but there's a 0% chance he plays this week.

Which is good. The guy needs to stop being stubborn and heal up for the long term. Ben is the franchise qb and all is on his back. But everytime he gets hurt and tries to rush back he ends up screwing over the team and his long term health

There is a bye week coming up... Id rather one week of the "Landry Jones one read spectacular show" than the rest of the season watching it... I just don't feel good about a gimpy Ben protecting a already gimpy knee against a meh team like Cleveland

Same here - I know he gets paid to play the game - and the coaches get paid to coach the game. If Ben gets hurt worse than he is now - the season is DONE. Sit him.

Wrong. There is a 0% chance of him playing in 2 weeks. This week there's still a chance...

he can get hurt against Seattle and the season is done. sit him then, too?
maybe put him in a hyperbaric chamber until his career is over?

There is a 0% chance he will play next week. This week it's 35%. If he is able to play best strategy would be to start Jones and only use Ben
if a win looks to be in jeopardy.

Ben will not get a hat sunday. This week is just like the week before the KC game. We should be able to beat THIS stains team, at home, with any QB with pedigree of Cliff Stoudt on up.

Go Antonio!

I needs me 20 pts, bruthur

Yes, I am currently #1 in my Moose Fantasy Football league....... and I appreciate all the support

so .... what's the status?

For what it's worth...

On Friday, Michael Vick may have hinted towards what Ben Roethlisberger's status for Sunday's game against the Browns.

Following Friday's practice, Vick discussed how Ben Ben looked during the last practice of the week while discussing if he thinks Roethlisberger will play on Sunday, one week after suffering a mid-foot sprain against the Raiders.

“He looked like himself (but) still kind of limping around a little bit," Vick said. "I don’t know where he’s at in terms of what he’s going to do, but I think as of right now he’s probably going to play it safe.”

The resilient one. Never count him out till the fat lady sings. The guy has more lives than a cat.

Play or not play, steelers should win this one.................."Factory of Doom"

Salute the nation

L. Jones will start, Ben is b/u, vick won't dress.

Does Jones get in a whole series?

Jones plays unless we start losing by more than a Td. Then Jones will miraculously suffer a hang nail and Ben will come in.

Ben and Tomlin always said Ben won't dress unless he is going to start. Not sure why this game would be any different.

This game is different because it is an absolute must win. They are saying, hopefully Landry can get it done, we don't think Vick can, and if the season hangs in the balance we will let him play.

Not sure it is a must win. But I think it is safe to say they can afford probably only two more losses.

So with much tougher opponents on the horizon, you don't want a loss. Especially a AFC loss.

just got a msg from bleacher Ben officially active. If so we need the W badly, we will need miller to help gilbert vs Kruger, Mingo is another Jarvis over hyped crap
