Dolphins Could Land Martavis Bryant

The financial impact of this trade, keeping in mind the Steelers are cash strapped:

Bryant $705K Cap $705K
Parker $1.918M Cap $3.46M

This move does not make any sense financially. Giving up $2.75M for about the same player is a terrible financial move. Especially when that money can go to getting an ILB or Safety.

99% sure in a trade Miami eats the prorated amount of his bonus so we'd only be stuck with 1.9m.

The Steelers could do much better in a deal for MB.
But, if he is not breaking rules again, I would like to see him stay with the Steelers.

maybe they could trade Bryant to the bungles for WJIII

Yinz should be the resident Houston draftnick. Like breaking down the goods and bads of each player you like. I am assuming you watch every Houston game?

yes, that is why I only pimp Houston guys....I watch other games, but just for enjoyment. I DVR the UH games to re-watch the guys I think might have a shot......

Who is your favorite Houston draft-able and why?

love me some draft !

I posted some video already of WR Steven Dunbar..He catches with his hands, not his body and rarely drops the ball, he is not the most elusive runner but does show some moves and ability to make guys miss. He high points passes well and will fight for contested passes. Right now I expect him to go mid to late 5th at the earliest....unless his official 40 time blows teams away

Linell Bonner WR...little shorter than Dunbar, but excellent hands also

also think S Terrell Willams and ILB D'Juan Hines would be worth taking in the later rounds

Why he would even want to leave in a contract year is beyond me. Train hard and do your stuff this season.

As cheap as Martavious' cap hit is, he isn't going anywhere unless we are to get true #2 compensation. We aren't trading for twice the money and equal the ability, WHY?????? If the stakes got high enough than yes but not what is currently offered. A 2nd & 5th with about double money........... Then he'll yes, pending on player.

Only way Colbert should listen is if Miami is willing to offer Reshad Jones in some capacity. Not sure what the logistics of a deal like that would take, and I'm not sure what Jones's salary is. However, Jones is pretty much damn near the only player I'd consider wanting to take from Miami. Xavier Howard is probably the only other player, but I can't imagine Miami wanting to depart with him.

you'd have to wonder about why Martavis wouldn't want to be here. This is his contract year. He needs to shine to get a good second contract. Is he going to be able to do that better in MIA or in PIT with a better QB throwing him the ball?

Looks like Parker isn't getting any more looks than Martavis so it seems unlikely he gets used more in MIA and has an inferior QB.

If Martavius was smart enough to figure that out he wouldn't have acted the way he did last year. Actually I think he's a good player, teammates say he's not a problem, but I think from the timing of his tweets he gets home and his woman and his people get in his ear about "They're not giving you the ball, they're costing you money, etc." and then he then he goes off.

Marty can't think for himself. He is a little slower now and looking pretty average. Nothing special.
