I can see a number of teams wanting him as a #2, but with his injury history and production, not sure any will be offering #1 money to him. I could see him actually having more value to the Steelers and coming back on a reasonable contract.

I hope so, because I don't want him on a deal...I want a huge upgrade

I agree. At best he'll go to a team that goes RBC. I could see him landing somewhere like Seattle if they allow Carson to walk.

I personally would welcome Connor back over Snell and used as a 3rd down back. Our Oline didn't do anyone any favors.

reduced cap hit that fits his lowered role, anything more is a waste of cap space. I love his story but we need production and health. Rookie RB isn't costly and yet could exceed production.

Salute the nation

Conner is a good role playing back. A system where they do backs by committee would be his best choice for a longer career in the league.

I don't think I want Conner even on a minimum deal. We need to upgrade.

I'd take him at that, if I knew he wasn't going to be the starter.

Kroger. Would have been funnier if it wasn’t misspelled.

I'm sure the Montreal Alouettes would love to have him.

What market when he was on the sidelines more than in the games, yes he had a few highlights but not as a starter

I would rather see the Steelers throw a late round dart than sign Conner again. He just isn't an NFL caliber player. He has proven that year after year of worst rushing game in the league. I don't want to see him in Pittsburgh even if he would play for free. Thats been my take on Conner since he got here. Glad the Conner bandwagon is finally over.

Putting injuries a side I'm not sure why so many people are ready to throw him away? The biggest issue that needs to be addressed is the Oline. With that being said I wouldn't want him back as my starter next year but if you can sign him to the cheap and depth purposes then resign him.

Canada has history with both him and Watt... it would be smart for him to resign at a low cap hit and hope for a rebound season... even if he were to be displaced by a younger back later in the season his knowledge of Canadas system might be useful early on....
