How about just going back to the block-number jerseys and be done with it?

Is there just one light on it like a wall Night Light or several lights like an airport runway? Also can you change out the light bulb to add Christmas colored blinking light(s) for the holidays?
The Steelers throwback jersey are okay with me. I still call them the bumblebee jerseys and go BUZZZZZ when they score a touchdown to annoy co-workers/Fans of the visiting Team that we're playing.

70s throwbacks uniforms would simply be block numbers and depending on your definition of 70s, a gray face mask and black shoes, that's it.

They can wear these as far as I'm concerned. Uniforms don't matter - what matters is who's actually playing.

As ugly as they are, as we all know, that is what they wore back in the day. The Rooneys have indeed stuck to the 'throwback' theme just as the other teams did. The Jets and the Packers throwbacks are just as ugly, but, it's about the history of the league more than a fashion statement.
