If we can somehow manage to beat one of the good teams and take care of the Bengals, will that be enough to secure at least a wild card?

Only way the Steelers get in is if they win more or tie the amount of wins the rats do in the final 3. I think this is how it will play out. Rats have the more favorable schedule and are playing well.

Rats will have to have a monumental choke job to let us sneak in. But really, who cares? I think we can all agree our squad can be dangerous to anyone, but they’re a comedy of errors. This is not a championship team and it is 100% because they are badly head coached

Playoffs??? Playoffs??

Do we really want to make it to the playoffs, only to be one and done again? NO.

If we win 2 and the Rats win 2, we are in. I just don't see it. The way we are playing and the way the coaches seem not to care, I think we will be lucky to get one more win. This team sucks right now and the coaches are worse than the players are playing.

Boz should be cut today but won't be. Some assistant coach should be cut today but won't. After ******* up more replays, Tomlin should be forced to hire someone to help with challenges from the booth. But, I doubt anything will change. 3 losses in a row and absolutely ZERO thought in my mind that we can win either of the next 2 games. I am not sure we are even good enough to beat the Bungles. If we do lose the next 2, our season will be over before the Bungles game anyway.

The worst thing that could happen to this franchise is making the playoffs.

It would give us a higher draft pick and validate a head coach that badly needs to lose his job on top of being a waste of time seeing as how there's no way this team is championship material

I wouldn't say the coaches don't care. It is just they are inept. With Tomlin and Butler it is like watching dumb and dumber coach this team. Majority of fans know Tomlin has run his course, now we are left with how long before the owners figure it out. And I am thinking it won't be as soon as the majority hope for. You have to envy Green Bay in that manner. They did their fan base a solid and cut the dead weight.

When we face a Bungles team without Dalton or Green in week 17, watch how competent they will look. They will look like a fully functional NFL offense playing their long time pro bowl starters in week 7 or something. And we will lose. And a playoff spot will be on the line

7-8-1 here we come! I’m hoping for this.

I think the Rats win at least 2 of 3, so we have to win 2 of 3. I will say this, the Rats with that run, run offense with Lame-R have not faced a decent run defense yet.

I do. I'll take any chance at the playoffs. Another one and done, makes Cool shades 3wins and 7 loses in his last ten playoff games. Perhaps the final straw that makes Mr. Rooney act

At this point I almost hope they don't make it. Really bad stuff has to start happening here so sooner or later this middle of the road never had a losing season underachieving unprepared crap comes to an end.

The ONLY WAY Tomlin is fired is if the Rooney’s sell controlling interest in the team. The current gutless ownership is no way shape or form close to being able to say they were wrong about Tomlin.

They don't have to say they were wrong. Just simply say that a change was needed and the coaching staff ran its course.

Exactly. The bottom line is that we won a Super Bowl with Tomlin and went to another. There is no argument to be made that the decision was “wrong”. It’s just not working anymore and it happens. The Eagles had to cut bait with Andy Reid at some point and there is absolutely no argument to be made that they were wrong for hiring him

I just don't see us winning two more games. Not with the scheme and game plans or lack thereof. We're looking at 8-7-1 and a long offseason.

I believe they just proved they can't stop any offense in the entire league.

False. The only offense they are beating is their own.

I don't think the wild card is in play for the Steelers.
One of the three, the Dolphins, Titans, or Colts, will go 9 and 7. Denver could as well, if the Chargers have nothing to play for in the last game.
Steelers must win 2, or hope the Ravens lose 2.
