Dobbs TRADED to Jags for a 5th Rounder.....

Hopefully he'll be able to take advantage of the situation. He was never going anywhere in Pittsburgh with Ben and Rudolf in front of him.

MIA seems open for a sale. Do they have anyone we can get.

They just gave up 59 including 6 TD passes to the ****** passing game of the Ravens, so I am positive that Tomlin is looking at their DB's and brilliant defensive scheme right this minute!!

I’m shocked it was a higher pick than a 7th rd pick.

Same here. Dobbs has hardly any experience in a real game and has regressed as a QB.

Dobbs was drafted in 4th. He has gained a couple of years experience in preparation on our roster. And we trade that away for a LESSER round pick? When we didn't really have to.

These aren't your daddy's Ravens, I watched some of that game, they were unstoppable, and I bet Miami's secondary is better than ours!

In nearly perfect passing performance, Lamar Jackson leads Ravens in historic rout of Dolphins

Delivering on the promise of a “revolutionary” offense against an outmatched opponent, the Ravens set a franchise record for points and scoring margin. Jackson, in just his eighth career start, authored what might be the greatest passing performance by a Ravens quarterback.

In less than three quarters, Jackson finished with a career-high 324 passing yards, a franchise-record five passing touchdowns, a franchise-record 85.0% completion rate (17-for-20) and the first perfect passer rating (158.3) in Ravens history. Jackson was far from the only record breaker. Tight end Mark Andrews had eight catches for 108 yards, both career highs.

Ravens rookie wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown had four catches for 147 yards, and his first two catches went for touchdowns

Why not go after WR Keelan Doss on the Jaguars practice squad with this Dobbs deal ?

I am 100% fine with this move... we get an asset and a roster spot... we have a third development type qb with a potentially higher ceiling than Dobbs that is available, and dobbs as a 3 qb is going to stunt his development and do us no long term good... this lets us add a te or skipper

Let's see what they do with the roster spot. Oh, and I suspect the team could find two roster spots, the other by telling Moncrief to get the @#$% out of the building.

He signed a contract with raiders.

Go get Devante Parker from Dolphins, he’s young and could definitely get better. Has player maker capability.

Dobbs wasn't being used properly here..

Because we were 4 QBs deep this preseason, Dobbs regressed and we got the first draft pick I can remember, for a QB that wasn't going to play this year.

Yeah the guy was a clear #2 type... high intelligence, high athleticism, not really with that #1 type instincts though... being a 3 is a waste forus and him.... Hodges could have a higher ceiling and as a 3 thats great, plus he is ps eligible if we get him back

Potential that Dobbs would have been our starter for the future: 0%
Potential that we may get a starter with the 5th: Who cares? It's more than 0%.

Bingo.

Honestly this is as good as I cold hope for. Dobbs was a serviceable backup for a 4th round pick and likely gives us an early 5th round pick now. Rudolph can be our backup with Hodges our emergency practice squad guy and this puts skipped back on the 53 man

Rudolph can be our backup

Honestly, Ben was so off last night that I was hoping they'd put Rudolph in to see if he could light a spark. He & Washington sure have great chemistry. He could've just told James "Now when I throw you long along the sidelines James, it's okay to keep running straight ahead to the end-zone. We've done this before buddy."
