I always find them quite informative. Even though after it a loss it just pisses me off all over again.

Occasionally I do. I check the Power Rankings every week cause I'm a masochist.

He said the same thing about Gilbert that I did a few days ago. He may not be getting beat as often but he is giving ground to easily. He let a weak LB push him into Ben for a sack when Ben had a WR wide open for a TD. He's also right about Haley's play selection. Some time they are just baffling.

Nothing seems to set anything up. There is no rhyme or reason to the play selection. Then again maybe there isnt enough execution to say. Both those plays illustrated were potentially big plays. We are a average inconsistent team. I see young talent but its inconsistent young talent.

I agree. However Miller and Gilbert aren't young any more. I can give Wheaton a break because he was hurt last year and this is his first real playing time. But Gilbert is on his 2nd contract and has been playing for years now.

I agree. Breakdown here breakdown there. These guys cant put together back to back good plays let alone a quarter or a game. I know no one will be perfect but there is way more bad plays strung together then good plays strung together. I would love to see the offense line up with a FB and run the ball. Similar to what Dallas is doing. Establish a physical mindset. Run Bell who has been consistently the best offensive player. Keep the defense off the field.

After watching the Cowboys/ Seahags game I was envious of Dallas for the first time in 20 years. They have a huge OL and they gashed Seattle. They are winning by running the ball, play action and getting one on one coverage because the defense has to commit so many people to the box. I watched Dallas run against 9 man fronts and still get yards. They have taken away the audible from Romo. Now he runs the play called. They don't care if 11 guys are in the box, they are going to run it.

I hate talking about the cowgirls like that but their win in Seattle was one of the most impressive games I've seen in a long time. The game wasn't even that close. Seattle got a punt block for a TD and a fumble that lead to a FG. The cowgirls mauled Seattle.

I hate the Cowboys of course but Ive been telling my friends who are Cowboys fans for years. Run the ball. The first time I saw the RB run i said he is special. Run the ball. Romo is a good QB if you limit his chances to do something stupid. The more chances you give him to **** up he will. Now they are running and not only has it helped Romo but the defense as well.

Ben may have to be reigned in also. Limit his chances to hold on to the ball and take stupid sacks. Run Bell and Blount. It will also keep our defense on the sidelines.

yep - one of my favorite places to visit

they have good video clips too

"Run the ball" at all costs mentality got them down 21-3 at the half.

No it didnt. Wheaton catches the pass from Ben it could of been 10-0.

No, a bad defense, a missed FG, and the inability to block got them down 21-3 at half time.

I agree with almost all stated. I think Todd Haley is la la land thinking our line can just man up and hold their own and he is calling plays that take too long to develope. Like the one that Miller goes out in a route. First, we don't need a playaction, secondly Miller should have stayed on Mingo to give Ben a little more time. That could have been a TD if we give Ben one more second. The second one to Moore sickening since two of our linemen got man handled. Again, one more second and either TD or big play.

I miss the good old days when we won in the trenches. That is the one failed philosphy I believe that has caused our downward spiral. We just don't win at the line of scrimmage like we used to.

It's just painful watching that offensive line.

Two plays, two guys wide open and Ben on his back for both of them.

what's even more fun is looking at some teams' practice squad players and then looking at our roster.

You are not the only one. I hate to admit it. I am trying to find something positive to say about this team, other than we have some wins, better than other teams (Jacksonville). Ugh. Ok I ranted, vented. Peace.

The running game has been far more impressive than the passing game this season. The NFL is not a passing league, it's a league of whatever works.

I always been a very open-minded person when it comes to surprise plays and trickery. Just seems we don't think outside the box anymore in ALL sides of the ball. Just too much basic stuff. We need to get back to playing like it means something. I don't know what else to say but if I was a coordinator you would expect the unexpected every time. Just my way of coaching..Peace

I blame Coach Tomlin and Kevin Colbert - for everything...

They are responsible for signing and coaching the players who are not getting the job done. Yes,..it is ultimately their fault for the teams poor performances.
