A game like today, he would have had 15 tackles. Williams seemed absent on most plays.
He might be available later in the year.

Vince Williams is just too damn slow. He's not a starter. I'd give dirty red a shot, he might not be the fastest but he will be on his assignments, I know that.
 
Lol, fans couldn't get him out of town fast enough.

After the Miami Dolphins' Week 1 game was postponed due to Hurricane Irma, linebacker Lawrence Timmons made an unannounced visit to a Steelers practice and told some of his former teammates that he wanted to return to Pittsburgh, CBSSports.com reported Sunday.

According to the report, Timmons told some with the Steelers, including coach Mike Tomlin, that he wanted to visit, but most of the team's personnel were unaware. The visit reportedly took place on Friday, Sept. 8.

According to the report, Timmons expressed to his former teammates his regret for leaving the Steelers.

Timmons reported to California for practice with the Dolphins, who practiced in the state ahead of their Week 2 game against the Los Angeles Chargers because of Hurricane Irma. It wasn't until Saturday of that week that Timmons left the team without permission.

Timmons was made inactive for the game against the Chargers, snapping his streak of 101 consecutive NFL starts, and he was suspended indefinitely last week.

Dolphins coach Adam Gase hasn't discussed details of Timmons' situation with the media, besides saying that the linebacker was dealing with a personal matter that affected the team.

Dirty red is the one that let that TE run right past him, free, into the EZ, wide open. No bump, no nuthin.
 
We need something damnit.
 
As much as I liked Timmons, not sure today's **** show would have been fixed. This team over pursues, a lot, and seems overly susceptible to cut backs.

We had a **** ton of talks on here about how Timmons having the most tackles on the team didn't mean ****. Of course, us supporters never said it meant everything. However, it'll those detractors had been right, Williams should be ahead on tackles. He doesn't.

When Watt went out last week, it seemed the D got worse immediately. Missing Watt and Tuitt on that side makes a difference. Chick and Alualu aren't bad, but they seem, obviously, a step down. If we had either one, we get better.

PS. I don't know why Harrison isn't playing. Makes no sense.
 
A lot of guys were missing tackles. Over pursuit and Chicago's short RB was shifty as hell.

I dunno man

I heard some running records of futility was being thrown around, what changed from last year to this?

Timmons perhaps he wouldn't have over pursued.

I also wonder why Harrison wasn't out there, does Tommy Tom think that egg is hatched?
