It's like the Chargers D isn't even covering anyone. When are teams going to learn to play press man and come after Brady.

It's just not what the Chargers do.

It's hard to alter the entire structure of a defense in a week.

Besides, their run defense has been the bigger problem today.

That's why they are about to be 0-8 under them.
You can't go into a game expecting to just do what you do and win, kind of like why we struggle against them.
Man defense is the easiest D to play.

They adjusted when they played us

You pressure Rivers and make him throw outside, he has no arm left. You don't give him easy **** over the middle with his #1 wr on a LB

If you don't get into Brady's face and hit him you have no chance to win. Period. I don't care how good your offense is or how good your special teams are because Brady will kill you.

Rivers is throwing the ball off his back foot even when there aren't guys in his face. Very gun shy at this point.

It's like watching us play them so many times. LA not even attempting to blitz and playing zone and he's just picking it apart

They do not think their DBs are capable of it, which is what Tomlin claimed was the issue in the Steelers last AFCC game against the Patriots.


The Steelers played almost exclusively man against the Patriots in Jesse James game, and Brady still carved them up.


I've always felt the key to beating the Patriots is to mix up coverages and get pressure with four rushers. It really doesn't matter what your doing if Brady is able to easily anticipate what a defense is doing.

Yep, exactly why you pressure up the middle, he can't move and doesn't have the arm strength to throw outside
