He just can't play center since it's on his snapping hand. I don't know about taping it up and playing guard, but he's easily better than Foster, plus he can pull.

that cat is injury prone..........

His isn't the only one. What is it with these 1st round picks that can't seem to stay healthy - Pouncey, Dupree, Shazier, Bell - why do we always seem to find the china dolls, doobie brothers, or under achievers when it comes to first round picks?

I was on record saying I did not want to give Pouncey a big 2nd contract. I'd trade him for a draft pick right now, just unload that 11-12 million a year salary please. Let another team absorb that cost. Then next year we'd have 30 million to spend instead of 20 million for the 2017 cap.

And who at center? Never saw $10m make a snap or a block yet.

then play him at fng Guard as others have said. You don't lose an asset for the season when he can be valuable at other positions. Start training Foster to hike the football

You guys crack me up. Trade him? For what? What, other teams don't see his salary and his inability to stay healthy?

They wouldn't get a bag of balls for him.

Maybe this generation is just weak and filled with **** ups.

Is it possible for him to switch to the opposite hand for snapping the ball? I'm not sure how difficult this would be for a center, as I've never played the position.

Well I know Mike Webster & Dirt Dawson would never! NEVER EVER! Let an injury like this ruin their season!

WHAT A *****!

Just looked it up, Velasco is a FA. If he's in reasonable shape, sign him!

So a purely speculative "article" is grounds for cutting ties with Pouncey? I think I'll wait for confirmation before drawing that line.

Weird that they're saying he might practice this week. This is usually a 3-4week recovery.

If he's out for the year again, this will be his 3rd season ending injury.

Why should it be any different than any other year?
