Dion Jordan can be had for cheap...would you send a 5-6th rounder for him?

yes...........

Yes. I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Might even be able to just trade Jarvis for Jordan straight up. They would convert him in a 4-3 SAM (which he might fit) and we would stand Jordan up again.

I would especially do it if we get an OLB in the first two rounds.

I've mocked Jordan's production ... but it's time to que up the standard line "He wasn't used properly ..... Sure would look good in the B&G ..... Porter/Deebo would get him in line."

'Tis is the season, time to cue up the highlight reel.... he certainly looks more like a 3-4 backer than a lineman... who knows what Butler & Co could do with him.

This was something I'd consider exploring, especially if if was simply JJ plus a 5th for Jordan.

Jordan's year 5 option will be quite expensive, however. It will be at least 11m, which i suppose saves us from picking up JJ @ 7.7+M

we could send him a 6 and rework his contract lover and longer

Dion Jordan has done as much as JJ, his highlight real is full of the same JJ's is (unblocked runs at the QB). Jones has been disappointing for us, and you want to swap him for someone who has done less in MORE time? Jordan has been playing opposite Wake, one of the best pass rushers in the league, JJ was playing opposite an unmotivated, out of the league Worilds...

this place is great!!!

Well, my preference would be to get Jordan and have him and JJ on the squad. Let the pick that apparently nobody wanted fight for a starting spot against the pick that many were lusting after. It would be an interesting battle.

A higher draft choice who has done nothing and has rumors of drug use but let's trade JJ for him. Why is one good enough to trade for and the other ready to run out of town. Once again not pimping JJ just trying to understand this thinking??

I was under the impression that Dion Jordon is a ******* horrible football player so, no, I wouldn't trade for him.

Those two suspensions we mentioned at the top of the story? That means the next time Jordan gets the hook, he’s going away for a long time. It doesn’t matter how talented the guy is, Jordan is useless to the Eagles if he’s unavailable for an entire season.

You might also want to take into account his next suspension will be his third, he is on the Rickey Williams path to enlightenment and lots of time off. At this point Jarvis may not be much but he is not about to get a season long suspension if he gets grabbed for a bit of the weed.

Hate to say it...but, Jarvis and my 6th would be on the table tomorrow at 9AM...

Deion Jordan can't play. He's a back up 4-3 end type. I'd pass.

Depends on if the Phins already gave him his roster bonus or not. If they did I'd be fine throwing a 6th at them. His base pay is 585k so it wouldn't cost us anything to kick the tires and drop him after the season. If he does well then pay him is 2016 2.5 million roster bonus and 675k salary. If not drop him and pay him no more.

Only an idiot coach or GM would watch that tape and expect that player to put his hand in the dirt and play DE.

I'm not excusing Jordan if he's not working or smoking dope on the job, but that was still piss-poor GM work by Miami to trade so much to get him and then expect him to be a 4-3 player.

Just another thing that confirms the idea GM's are smarter than all of us is just plain bullshit.

Dat first step tho. If he is lazy I dont want him but I loved how he played in college.

He is very fast. I would trade a 5-6th rounder for him. He is def not a 4-3 DE, def a 3-4 OLB.

trade for him, draft Peters, take Max Williams in the 2nd, Mauldin in the 3rd.

Even if he is not as good as he was supposed to be, I don't see how you could think that you would get a 5th rounder that is better. A 5th for him is a no-brainer, especially, if you can rework his contract.

Why would you give a 5th rounder for a guy who is one joint away from being the next Josh Gordon and sitting on the sidelines for a year? At least Gordon has produced on the field, what has Jordan done?

Very cheap price as his talent does merit a 5th. BUT, if he isn't here, then we end up with a 5th that doesn't produce. Coukld happen to the guy we draft in the 5th, end up NOT producing. Is it worth the gamble? YES

Salute the nation

The Jets gave us a 5th for Holmes who was also one slip up away from a year long absence. 5th is about the going rate for someone like this. But that is it, no 5th AND a player or another pick, JUST the 5th.
