Wow. I will wait to see if this actually floats. Just can't trust them. Why worry about keeping the party alive, when the focus is doing what it best for this nation.

 
For the past several years I have basically agreed with Ogre, Indy and several others that the end is already here. An election or two will not change the deep, DEEP rot that is destroying America. We have a generation that will be in charge in the next 15-20 years but cannot pass a basic physical, smoke "medicinal" marijuana regularly, cannot spell, cannot read competently, cannot write, cannot perform basic algebra, cannot watch Blazing Saddles without running out of the theater screaming, and is so ignorant about economics that they believe AOC is actually well-informed on the topic.

Sorry, the end is not near - it is in the rear-view mirror. We are arguing about what scraps to yank off the carcass of the once-great United States.

I've been saying this for the last 10+ years. This nation can only fall by rotting from with in, and it is.
 
Musk is launching a new political party. Just weeks after saying he was done with politics.

I’m proud to be an American too, but we’ve not taken care of what was given to us. We got complacent and allowed a bunch of corrupt ********* to exploit our trust in them to enrich themselves at the expense of the country and the principles she was founded on. There’s only one way to fix this ****, and after Gen X ages out there is no way to fix this ****. As has been said repeatedly on this board, folks are too comfortable to do what needs to be done. Until everyone is uncomfortable enough, it’s going to be far too late.

I agree. I feel as if it's too late already.

When's the last time a President, Representative or Senator was actually convinced of something and thrown in jail? If you are corrupt, go to Washington DC. You can literally get away with murder.
