I heard an interview with Fran Tarkenton after the Brady news conference. He said Brady knew what was going on with the balls. He said no one touches those balls unless he knows about it and he directed it. He wouldn't call him an outright liar but kept saying Brady knows what happened with the balls.

I hear so many say what happened is not "serious". I say bullshit. This is very serious. With how much crap the league has gotten this year for screwing up, they should slap some major crap on the Cheatriots. Since they don't have the balls to disqualify them, then, they should lose top draft picks (I said all first round picks for 2 years) and lose 10% of their cap for 5 years. If they league just slaps them on the wrist again, we will know who truly runs the league and runs Goddell.

He's taking the hardline that this is such a minor thing, all teams do it. The media is just looking to stir up something before the game and I'm giving him a full ration of ****.

To all the guys that say if your not cheating your not trying and no big deal, how about prior to the game you hire some guys to run on to the field and break the knees with baseball bats of key players just trying?
 
I think a bag of balls were exchange. The refs handed the equipment manager approved games balls and then he swapped them with Brady approved balls before taking them to the field. Easy as that. Just my opinion.

My mother-in-law lives in our guest house during the cold months. She is from Rhode Island, as is my wife.

But mother-in-law is 82 years old, lost her husband of 59 years last year, so I am gracious enough to avoid scandal talk.

My 49-year old brother-in-law, however, is another story.
 
come on guys Brady said he didn't do it. He cant be a cheater AND a liar right?
 
I haven't heard ONE NFL or ex-NFL player (especially QB's) stand up for Lying Lipped Tom since his interview today...

I guess the equipment manager will have to pay the 25K - get fired and this will be done w/ by Friday night.

Shame on Roger Goodell if that does happen...
