Defense appreciation thread...

Hell yeah.. hell of an effort keeping us in it all night, giving Vick, Bell, Wheaton, and the boys opportunities to make those few plays they needed to win
 
The defense is growing up ... and it's a good thing to see
 
I mentioned something similar in the game thread. This is a pretty descent defense. They get after the ball. They do give up alot underneath to the tight end and smack dab in the middle, but these guys get pressure and help create turnovers. When Ben comes back healthy, this defense will be a great compliment to the offense.
 
It's good to see a tire fire in the preseason and week 1 become a strength. Keep the pressure on D! Way to let our DEs loose Butler. No way would LeBeau let Heyward and Tuitt shoot the gaps each play. Damn is that a nice wrinkle. The early round draft picks on D are starting to pay dividends!
 
They pretty much won the game. Just before half I said they needed some turnovers if they hoped to win. They sure got them. Just hope the injuries aren't bad, those guys had to be super gassed.
 
Many props and kudos to our defense, they seem to be growing up before our very eyes. They played with a lot of spirit tonight. Please keep it up:!
 
Pick Six was a thing of Beauty like everyone was in slow motion on both sides of the ball LOL

Because Will Allen is to old to cover them adequately and Shamarko is too dumb. But that discussion is for another day ... let's enjoy the win tonight
 
Just keep it going. If Ben can come back strong and the defense can play like this they might just have something.

It was a thing of beauty,but I am guessing I was not the only one ******** myself as he was running back carrying the ball the way he was.
 
Jarvis even made two plays of note with the sack and forced fumble

They'll be drafting a safety early next draft, it's the biggest hole on the D.
 
They were saying on ESPN that Eric Weddle has interest in becoming a Steeler. Maybe he will be our answer at safety next year.
