They got him for the same thing the Steelers gave for Williams. A 5thYeah I saw that earlier. No big loss! We need to draft our WR in the first round.
Deebo has a lot of miles on those tires. I’m glad that didn’t trade for him and his pricey 2025 contract. Not worth it!
He would get a ton of flags and really screw it up for us.If he is near as good at his position as OUR Debo was here, he would look good in Black and Gold. It would just come down to if we would have used him properly ????

Regardless of the Deebo deal, that was such a ridiculous overpay for Mike Williams. They got him for the same thing the Steelers gave for Williams. A 5th
It was a desperation move. They should never pull the trigger based on that.Regardless of the Deebo deal, that was such a ridiculous overpay for Mike Williams.
How we used him. Agreed. Same with the LBer from Green Bay.Regardless of the Deebo deal, that was such a ridiculous overpay for Mike Williams.
I would take him for a 5th.Do not want.

It is like grocery shopping when you are hungry.
You end up with crap that you don’t need.
No you preplan and get the brand of sausage and bacon that makes that taste difference.
Otherwise you are just left with a bad taste in your mouth.

Another view would be———— a ridiculous use of Mike Williams.
Was he really that bad that they couldn’t put him on the field of play? Is our Offense so complicated a vet such as Williams couldn’t Learn it?
I get what you’re saying 448, but if the overpay is correct…… then I question our talent evaluation and GM for going through with the deal.
Don’t fear, Tomlin is not immune in this decision. Because Tomlin has his hand in every pocket / aspect of the team, I’m sure he signed off on this decision.
We needed WR help, Kahn went out and got what was believed by many, to help with the answer.
From what us fans saw, definitely over payed for the witnessed value. I also feel he was definitely under utilized for reason unknown to us.
SteelerFan448, thanks for all your great & thought provoking post(s). Appreciate you.

Aiyuk is also supposedly on the trade block. We aren’t going that one again. It's only a 5th because Wash has to take on his huge contract.. Deebo has not looked good lately. The 49ers paid Aiyuk because they knew Deebo was on his way out.
And they still dumped Deebo with Aiyuk's injury.....maybe Deebo doesn't have much tread left? It's only a 5th because Wash has to take on his huge contract.. Deebo has not looked good lately. The 49ers paid Aiyuk because they knew Deebo was on his way out.
That'd be odd trading both injured starting WRs with an injured RB.....may speak to how injured they really are...Aiyuk is also supposedly on the trade block. We aren’t going that one again.
Yep! That fifth was spent on Williams. They got him for the same thing the Steelers gave for Williams. A 5th
