Hey that doesn't sound too bad. I mean, geez! $400,000 is a LOT of money.

Unless you're an LLC and employ 4 people. Then if you are paying your people just $75k a year, you are already looking at a $300k loss. So your business darn well better be making some money. And if you have even the slightest idea how to run your business, you'll want to set aside some of your profit for growth and protection during lean times. So lets say you run the above mentioned LLC. Your business grosses around $1 million a year. After you pay your employees, you're down to $700k, but then you have to pay for your inventory, and overhead. Let's pretend you are a ******* rock star and you can make $1M with just $250k overhead and inventory. That leaves you with $450k profit. (Keep in mind you haven't had an opportunity to reinvest in your company, nor have you had an opportunity to get any income from your LLC yet, nor have any partners you may have.

Since you are on Joe's "hit list" you have to pay 70% taxes on your net income, currently a whopping $450k. Now of course you're going to have some deductions some loopholes. But if you didn't take advantage of those things you'd be looking at (wait for it...) a $315k tax based on Joe's generous 70%. That leaves you with $135k to pay yourself and your partners, possibly consider giving somebody a raise and reinvesting in the company.

You'd be shocked at how many privately owned LLCs are in situations just like this, where "on paper" they look as though they net huge money. But the nature of an LLC means you share the tax status of your company. You haven't been paid yet, but your business is subject to a huge tax which ultimately means YOU don't get reasonable income or YOU don't get to reinvest in your company. It's one or the other, not both in the face of a 70% + tax.

First Trumps base is like 20% not going to win an election. Sure people aren't as worried about white supremacists burning and looting, but doesn't mean it's ok to accept them either. Not denouncing them and telling them to "stand by" is terrible politics. No matter how Trump meant it white groups are using it like their calling now. It also did nothing to grow his base and it gave the media more stuff to latch onto. We can't have vigilantes running around it will turn into pure anarchy with innocent people being killed. It's up to the government to shut down the BLM / Antifa violence and if mayors / governors don't do it then Trump needs to step in.

Of course it's not OK, but it's equivalent and it doesn't excusebor give Trump a free pass. Also those people are not president or running for president and stuff like that will cost him the election. B iden did condemn the violence yesterday....

Wallace was a partisan last night, I don't care what you say. He seems to take personal pride in going after Trump. Once again, the questions and directives to Trump were far different than those to Joementia.

Just look at how Wallace asked Trump about White Supremacy v how he asked Joementia about AntiFA.

Wallace struggled to impose order on Tuesday night's unruly 90-minute affair amid repeated clashes between Trump and Biden, growing visibly frustrated throughout the evening.

Trump repeatedly sought to interrupt Biden during his answers, leading Wallace to point out that both campaigns had agreed prior to the event to allow each candidate to provide two-minute answers uninterrupted.

"Mr. President, I'm the moderator of this debate and I'd like you to let me ask my questions," Wallace said at one point.

"I guess I'm debating you, not him," Trump fired back. "I'm not surprised."

Wallace was forced to step in at one point in the debate to interrupt one of Trump's diatribes against Hunter Biden, the former vice president's son.

"The country would be better served if we allowed both people to speak," Wallace said. "I'm appealing to you to do that."

"What about him?" Trump asked.

"Frankly, you've been doing more interrupting," Wallace responded.

Trump's allies accused Wallace of siding with Biden throughout the debate, saying the Fox News host was trying to bail out the former vice president when he was on the defensive.

The debate's rancorous tone drew criticism from media figures who said it did little to help the country decide on the merits of each candidate, with CNN's Jake Tapper calling the event "a hot mess, inside a dumpster fire, inside a train wreck."

Others also lamented how Wallace appeared bulldozed at the debate, with MSNBC's Nicole Wallace remarking, "President Trump acted as the abuser tonight, and Chris Wallace was among the abused."

Still, several figures came to Wallace's defense, noting there was little any moderator could do to control a debate in which the agreed-upon rules were so openly flouted.

"First, let me defend Chris Wallace. I mean, my God. The guy signed up to moderate a debate and he ended up trying to referee a knife fight," said Fox News's Geraldo Rivera.
 
The reason he interrupted Trump that many times is because Trump would not shut up and was trying to constantly talk over Biden and Wallace, not that hard of a concept to figure out. Biden followed the rules much better period. Trump wouldnt even let Wallace get out the full first question before he started rambling. Sure you can say Wallace shut down Trump, but Trump should not have been talking during those times anyways...At some points all 3 were trying to talk at the same time... Next debate they need to put them in a sound proof booth and turn off the mic for the person not up.

Suggest you re-watch the debate and look at how many times Biden interrupted Trump...how Wallace allowed Biden to finish his answers while Wallace interrupted Trump during his answers...

Seriously, watch it twice.

Personally, I can't understand how an american citizen cannot see this is what is happening... just praying the majority have not become sheeple. So tired of thinking about this **** and yelling at my TV.

Unfortunately the public school system is spitting them out. If we do not counter that it's pretty much a certainty they become the majority.

The old way is forgotten and the new way takes its place. I think we have a pretty good preview of what Biden and his pals are all about . He won't be running **** that's for sure.

I bet that's how my ancestors felt when they were getting bowled over by a faction that wanted more centralized power (Federalists). They were all regarded as racist rebels when all they were trying to do was preserve their country. My ancestors were too poor to own slaves, they were not fighting so a plantation owner could keep his slaves, they fought to preserve their livelihood, their homes, their family and what they thought was their country and how the founding fathers intended the country to be run with states having the ability to govern themselves but with a weak central government to write treaties, conduct international commerce, and defense. That would not work for those who wanted more power and wealth from a huge Federal government so the rest as they say is history.

In defending themselves and their way of life they were labeled as racist scum that deserved to be hung from the highest tree and what meager possessions they owned stolen or burned. What worked then for propaganda to get the other side riled up, still works today. Its like its in a handbook somewhere.

Leadership of the PBs --- dumb name --- are quoted repeatedly with anti-semitic comments and at least a fraction of their membership have other affiliations. This doesn't mean that the majority are not good folks, but rather that they are easy targets for the press. Its not like they are the Kiwanis club, or the folks from Spike's Moose Lodge, although some may be.

One of the criticisms of BLM is that they have done no education or civil good works in their "community". What have these guys done? Why are there no women?

No matter how you look at it, Trump had to know going in that it was going to be a hostile event.

As I mentioned in another thread, he simply needed to answer things clearly and honestly and he would have destroyed Biden.

If pressed on the Proud Boys etc... "Ok. I can do that. Joe can't condemn Antifa because that's his base, but I'll say this. Proud Boys. However, until the democratic leaders of these cities and states ask for help from the National Guard or other federal resources, there's little we can do to stop them from allowing Antifa and their goons to continue destroying cities, businesses, homes and lives. Right now, I ask you to pray for the innocent people who are daily put in jeopardy by the inaction and apathy of democratic leaders who consistently act as though THEY don't believe Black Lives Matter."

Boom. Just like that he's gutted Joe, forced him to call out Antifa directly, and hamstrung democratic governors, reps and senators for allowing the rioting to continue while they "pretend" to support Black Lives Matter. How is Joe supposed to respond to that?
 
On Biden's tax reform ideas... "Joe, do you know how an LLC works? Do you know what percentage of small american business is run as an LLC? Are you clear that you are suggesting that we tax 85% of our small business base in America as much as 90%. And as you may or may not know Joe, that means you are taxing the individual OWNERS of those LLCs up to 90%. Why is it you never explain THAT part really really clearly to folks Joe?"
