For political persecution. We already know the scales of justice are one-sided. Clintons and Bidens are never held accountable -- nor the coup plotters with the bogus Russia investigation. Not yet, anyway.
 
Trump would have been much better off to just let SleepyJoe ramble and derail his own train of thought.

Talking over Biden at every single chance was bush league and bully-ish. but, that's the New Yawker in him. While it endeared him to a lot of people when it came to Hitlery, it seemed last night to work against him. By talking over Biden, he didn't let the voters see for themselves that Biden is suffering, and suffering badly.

There were times that Biden appeared to stumble on his words, and Trump picked him back up to set him back on path - or a different path by talking over him.

Clearly neither swayed any voters last night.

Trump ****** the pooch with his comment about the proud boys on "stand by". I don't believe he's racist, but that comment will not help his cause. Though he did hammer Biden on his crime law and how it disproportinately affects the black community.

for the next debate, mics should be turned off when its the other person's chance to talk.

while both agreed to not shake hands prior to the debate, citing health concerns and Rona, Biden damn near went to sit in Chris Wallace's lap last night before Jill Biden pulled her wide *** up on stage.

Being a fighter does not mean showing total disrespect to the moderator and opponent. Trump could fight and take his shots while following the rules he agreed to. As for kids being off limits i think young kids are of limits, but trumps kids except barron and Biden's kids are all adults so they are fair game as far as I'm concerned
 
At the end of the debate, 2 statements stood perfectly clear.

Biden: "Shut Up." (Sadly, contextually completely deserved...)
Trump: "I've done more in 47 months than you've done in 47 years." Also sadly... true.
 
Not condemning white supremacy in the strongest terms was a mistake. That said, the Proud Boys love Trump. And he loves them because they love him. That love feeds him, nourishes him-so he isn't going to **** on them.

He needs that love, and doesn't much care where he gets it. If the Proud Boys came out tomorrow against a Trump policy, Trump wouldn't love them anymore. I believe it really is that simple.

I kind of feel how they acted is the same way 90% of America now talks about politics.

It is just impossible to see eye-to-eye on anything. Every debate degrades into shouting, personal attacks and arguing over basic facts/beliefs.

I'm not sure I blame Trump at this point. I think he's a symptom of the disease and not the disease itself. And sometimes I appreciate just yelling your point when people refuse to listen.

But it isn't a debate anymore. Just like much of what we do here isn't really debating. There are just so few things we see the same.

Everything Biden says he will do is just "Bigger Government". He is like every democrat ever. I will promise all these social programs and we'll just magically tax the rich to pay for it all. When it is CLEAR rich people get out of taxes (see Trump), which will leave all the burden to pay for it on working America in hidden "fees". For him to have the gal to say everyone under $400k won't be taxed more is ludicrous based on what he is proposing.

Trump on the other had, actually has the platform I believe in, but he can't articulate it at all. He's a ******* nutcase even if 90% of the stuff he says has some truth buried in there somewhere.

There are just a MILLION things an articulate Republican can say and debunk pretty much everything the left stands for, yet Trump just can't say it right.

Every time they ask him for his health care plan, the simple answer is: I'm giving the power back to the states. Healthcare shouldn't be federally run. There is too much waste and bureaucracy. We will help financially. We will make some framework laws so monopolies don't happen and prescription drugs/Big Pharma don't take advantage, but healthcare is best with the employee/employer model and states picking up the rest.

it's THAT easy an answer. End of statement. And defend that statement the way only Trump can.

If Trump just said smart rebuttals to the liberal horseshit and defended them as vigorously as he does some other stuff, this race would be over. Trump actually is good at getting a point across. It's just right now his points just aren't ON POINT.

Interesting but, I would like to think his handlers are smarter than to just toss the wire loosely over his shoulder with such a chance to be seen. Even an amateur would have ran the wire under the shirt. But, I wouldn't be surprised if it was either an ear piece or a signal of some kind.

Hunter is absolutely fair game as he is a direct link and target of an investigation related to the whole Ukrainian Story and impeachment. Biden needs to be hit hard with questions and proof of those payments which are undeniable despite his protests.

No independents are concerned about their house being burned down, or people assaulted, businesses destroyed, bricks thrown at, blocking traffic, disturbing the peace an rioting by “white supremacy”

I don't know what Biden had on under the jacket, did not look anything like a rosary, but no way in hell he is that fast in replying if somebody is sending him information via some surreptitious "wire." He would not be able to listen to Trump's answer, listen the to secret "message," and formulate a response.

Me? I'm getting ready for a Bidenarris presidency. Our nation's most profitable resource - oil and natural gas by the metric ton, powering our nation, running our factories, heating our homes - gone. Why do people think Trump is good on the economy? We have accumulated 7 trillion in debt on his watch (Thank you democrats for demanding and extending a nationwide economic shutdown. You can't place this solely at Trump's feet, particularly when it's the democratic governors who are fighting any reopening efforts.) and before the virus we got a 1% drop in unemployment (which drop are you talking about the amazingly low general unemployment rate, or the historically, never before achieved low in black unemployment?) , and now we
have an economy that can't pay back the 7 trillion. (Certainly not a Biden-lead economy. Joe Biden has no intentions of recovering. He wants to take another few trillion to tear down buildings, rebuild them with better insulation, build "charging stations" along the freeways of America, and somehow pretend it's remotely possible to be using zero fossil fuels by 2035. All of which he claims he will do while lowering YOUR taxes and increasing taxes on the companies he plans to drive out of the country.)

Let's say Joe and AOC get their wish and they win and levy a 70% (generous on my part, AOC has called for 90%) tax on anyone making more than $400.000
Hey that doesn't sound too bad. I mean, geez! $400,000 is a LOT of money.

Unless you're an LLC and employ 4 people. Then if you are paying your people just $75k a year, you are already looking at a $300k loss. So your business darn well better be making some money. And if you have even the slightest idea how to run your business, you'll want to set aside some of your profit for growth and protection during lean times. So lets say you run the above mentioned LLC. Your business grosses around $1 million a year. After you pay your employees, you're down to $700k, but then you have to pay for your inventory, and overhead. Let's pretend you are a ******* rock star and you can make $1M with just $250k overhead and inventory. That leaves you with $450k profit. (Keep in mind you haven't had an opportunity to reinvest in your company, nor have you had an opportunity to get any income from your LLC yet, nor have any partners you may have.

Since you are on Joe's "hit list" you have to pay 70% taxes on your net income, currently a whopping $450k. Now of course you're going to have some deductions some loopholes. But if you didn't take advantage of those things you'd be looking at (wait for it...) a $315k tax based on Joe's generous 70%. That leaves you with $135k to pay yourself and your partners, possibly consider giving somebody a raise and reinvesting in the company.

You'd be shocked at how many privately owned LLCs are in situations just like this, where "on paper" they look as though they net huge money. But the nature of an LLC means you share the tax status of your company. You haven't been paid yet, but your business is subject to a huge tax which ultimately means YOU don't get reasonable income or YOU don't get to reinvest in your company. It's one or the other, not both in the face of a 70% + tax.
