So if I hear it once more I may implode... the term gained traction in the NFL after the Rams spent a ton of assets before winning their last Super Bowl.

Since then, the term has been chronically misused.

The Rams, in 2021, had been a contender for a bit and had huge cap space issues going forward trying to keep the team together.
The season before they traded two first round picks (2020 and 2021) for Jalen Ramsey.
Prior to 2021, they traded a younger Goff and their 2022 and 2023 first round picks along with a 2021 third round pick for Matt Stafford... then they added Von miller midseason at the cost of a 2022 2nd and 3rd round pick. They also added OBJ late in the season.

While they did recoup a lot of later round picks through subsequent trades, they ultimately had traded 8 picks away in 2022... they didnt have a first rounder from 20-23.... and their cap was a mess for years...

The Steelers have a sweet cap position and a glut of future picks... signing a few old FAs is not all in

The Steelers were among the most active teams this offseason.
Without going through the acquisitions and trades, parting ways with starters Minkah, Najee, Pickens, and 2 QB’s, then making Watt the highest paid and then signing Rodgers are eye opening enough moves (or desperate) for people to say that the Steelers are “all in”.

It was Rodgers signing that made it official.

The Steelers are “all in” though Mad, “all in” for the next Tomlinship…the Steeler way.

The problem is they are going “all in” with a short stack on the table as they still have two buy ins in their pocket.

The other issue is they are going “all in” from the cutoff position where there has been a three times the pot bet from the Chiefs and then they were raised by the Eagles and the team on the button is sitting there grinning from ear to ear.

And the Steelers go “all in” from the cutoff position with pocket 6s🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Yup we’re on a two outer for sure, and need to dodge a bunch of cards on this “all in”.

Shouldn't they be all in every year?
Yes but different levels.

Steelers all in to be above .500

Clowns all in sh!t. They like to roll in it, bathe in it, but the fans can point to that one semi- recent playoff win before their collapse last season.

So different teams different levels of all in.

😁
