DeAngelo Tweeting Again

I agree with DWill but it seems Manziel actually has a lot of issues then Gronk doesn't.

Gronk doesn't get repeatedly arrested or investigated for beating on women. Also I have no doubt that Belicheat would cut the best TE in the game in a heartbeat if he showed up drunk for practice.

Gronk - Best TE in the game, not the leader of the offense
Manziel- QB who rides the pine that was to be the face of the franchise.

I think if Gronk was playing somewhere else, he would be under greater scrutiny.
Also Mr Burgundy makes a great point as well.

That's life. Like it or not.

I agree with the others, but I have a serious legal question. If he really did offer a couple $10,000 to have sex right there in front of everybody, how is that not prostitution?

If they're not having sex with the person who is paying them then I don't think it's prostitution.

Gronk has a history of superior play at his position (best in league, one of best ever to play the position). And a long history of showing up, working hard.

Even if he did show up drunk ONCE to practice, he'd get one pass even for that.

Johnny is a total moron who has a long track record for being an idiot, being drunk all the time, not being a solid teammate ever. Not ever playing all that well. There is a colossal difference.

Yes, if I were a Pats fan, some of Gronk's antics would make me cringe - he definitely can be viewed as embarrassing. He can be accurately described as a dumb meat head. But that certainly isn't unusual when it comes to football players. At least he isn't out playing "gangster" and shooting people like his former counterpart. There are far worse things than dancing like a nut sans your shirt. And no one can question his total dominance on the field.

Agreed. You could sacrifice a goat and have a Roman orgy, if you produce and aren't a distraction no one cares. Manziel was hated by team mates day one. And his **** spills over to the dressing room and meeting rooms. AP is the best example. Beat his little kid with a switch. Came back and produced and there was quiet talk about MVP at some points.

Certainly solicitation, but then again you could use the template of "Gronk being Gronk'.

Also, as incredible as it is to believe, Gronk is an angel compared to the former TE who starred for them.

Wait a minute...what???

I agree, but if his TE is murdering people he will just give him a contract extension.

If I had a twitter I would let the world know everytime I dropped a turd. "Brb guys, aboot to take a ****"

He does rock a mean hoodie too. Damn cheating ****

Now he's taking some jabs at Peyton's season. I guess it wouldn't be as bad if Peyton didn't beat us in the freakin playoffs on the way to winning the Super Bowl. I don't really know the point DeAngelo is trying to make other than get trolls riled up on Twitter (it worked).

To be honest, he is starting to remind me of a former Steelers RB who was constantly tweeting dumb stuff. This isn't on 9/11 level but still.

Yeah, I'm about to the point where I tell him to just shut the **** up and concentrate on himself. Good god, I hate ******* twitter.

If Williams can run, I'm fine with his tweets getting at other players. As long as it's just words. Now if he's out and about getting in trouble, that's different.

Ironically, had D'Angelo been able to play in that game, they may have been able to hold on at the end and win it. As it is, Williams absence may very well have been a dominant part of the reason the Steelers lost the game.

IE Pot, meet kettle.

As for a certain running back's comments regarding 911, well let's just say we all learned 1 thing that day. If you ever happen to be in a steel frame high rise and it starts on fire - get the hell out. It WILL fall. 3 of them fell on 1 day. It's not a possibility, we pretty much determined it's a physics certainty. A steel frame building that starts on fire is GOING to collapse. There's just no getting around it and it will probably take somewhere in the zone of 1 to 6 hours.

So do yourself a favor and get the hell out. Forget all about the "remain calm" ****. Abandon ship, get out. The building will fall.

All he said was Manning played crap last year. How the hell can anyone argue with that? Yeah the Broncos won the Super Bowl but overall Manning had a terrible season. Fact.

Except that everyone that has eyeballs knew Peyton wasn't some crazy phenom blowing away opponents this season, but he managed the game well, changed plays, read defenses, and did what needed to be done (WON, the only stat QBs are graded by). He still competed, after all he's been through, with an amazing career. And he retired, so there isn't any trash talk that needs to be done. We all knew he didn't play great, but he's a legend in the game and it was HIS DAY, for everyone to recognize the mark he left on the game and to pay respects. Instead, D'Angelo mouths off instead showing little class.

I like Williams, but my god, get off Twitter and shut the **** up.

Yeah but the NFL made EVERYTHING about manning. Manning was god awful in the regular season, he wasn't great by any stretch during the post season and he did his best to choke away the super bowl(again). The media did everything to make it about manning when the rest of that Denver team, especially their defense, was much more deserving of the limelight. With all that said, people are sick and tired of the manning dick sucking. The media was absolutely praying to whatever God they could for elway to return the favor and shout "this ones for Peyton." Jesus, they spent more time with Archie ******* manning asking him about whether or not Forrest Gump was gonna retire instead of talking to anyone on the rest of that Denver squad.

Look, I think Manning wore out his welcome with all of his corporate whoring. But the man was retiring. And so that doesn't mean his retirement is all about his last season. It was all about his whole body of work which, like him or not, the guy had a terrific ******* career. And if that was a Steeler player up there and somebody else spouted off like DeWilliams did, I'd think it was a bullshit, no class ******* move. Bettis had 368 yards in his final season, so what if somebody spouted off the same **** about him during his retirement? What would your reaction be? So with all due respect I say this to Williams, shut the **** up about something that doesn't involve you.
