Which position has more selected prior to pick 30? With that said does that influence who you believe our selection will be?

They are both positions of need and an improvement to either will improve the quality of the defense. You have to look at the total landscape. If their is say a run on linebackers but there will be quality corners/safeties in the second round with say one good linebacker left but that linebacker isn't quite as good as the DB you take the linebacker. If there is a huge difference then you eat it and take the DB.

Not that it necessarily means much, but the Steelers have brought in a lot more edge defenders who look like first-round picks and have focused on more midround cornerbacks. I'd say edge is probably the target, but if you get a top corner or safety sitting there, that could easily be the choice.

I kinda think the same thing.

Question,,,, which DB would have to fall in order for them to come off that edge rusher choice..?

I'm seriously hoping for an edge rusher to get pressure on the qb. If there is one thing that I learned from the steelers from the 2005 to 2010 it is that pressure on a qb hides somewhat suspect cornerback play

But that was when you could play zone and hit the **** out of the receiver in the middle without a flag, now you need better CBs to make them re-route and give more time to the pass rushers

I like the guys that really are lb/dbs like Seattle's Kam chancellor. Chancellor was a 5 th rounder I think?? My guy this year is Jordan Evans Oklahoma... 6-3 230 4.5 a tweeter that didn't get invited to combine but a guy I think makes it in NFL if played right. Put him on special ed for a year coach him up then bam! you have a te killer

Better cb depth than edge, but I wouldn't mind
1. Humphrey
2. Lawson or

1.Tak McCkinley
2. some cb

what I think we will do
1. Edge
2. Chris Goodwin
3a. Rasul Douglas
