Day Two Draft Discussion

Toledo had a new QB who would take off and run quickly if his first read wasn't there. Maybe a little high but this kid can play. Watch the Miami Fla game. He beat some pretty good DB's that game.
 
Toledo changed QBs and a WR came back off injury which he shared more carries.

I think what they like about him is his release off the line. Good football speed.

Problem I have is if you are trying to clone a player, you better hope you didn't overdraft because you liked one trait.

With that short area quickness perhaps they are targeting him for the slot and keeping Juju outside..............

This seems like a guy the steelers targeted when this pick was an "extra" pick, just like they've used the extra 3rd on luxuries like QB or P in years past. Probably should have adjusted the strategy when they traded away their 2nd rounder

I also think this draft is freakishly deep.. putting something off until round 4 isn’t necessarily a nightmare

I trust the steelers WR evaluation. It's probably the only position i actually do trust their judgement these days. I just question if they had to take him that high

Darryl Drake says he "knows for a fact" Tampa Bay was going to select Diontae Johnson if the Steelers didn't take him at 66. #Steelers
 
I just think a TE like sternberger would have been more productive to the Offense than another WR, what does this mean for Washington? Are they already giving up on him?

But I'd rather they put off WR until Rd 4 because they actually know how to pick those. Their record of picking pass rushers and DBs is pretty ******.

I would have rathered David Montgomery there if they were going offense. I know people love Conner but I think he's limited.
