Day Two Draft Discussion

I think they could have gotten him with one of the 6th round picks like they did mr big chest but whatever
 
37th rated we on Walter
Diontae Johnson*, WR, Toledo
Height: 5-10. Weight: 183. Arm: 30.75. Hand: 9.00.
40 Time: 4.53. Three Cone: 7.09.
Bench: 15. Vertical: 33.5. Broad: 10-3.
Projected Round (2019): 6-FA.
4/23/19: Johnson had 49 catches for 761 yards and eight touchdowns in 2018. He decided to enter the 2019 NFL Draft. Johnson would fit best as a slot receiver.

8/28/18: In 2017, Johnson took over with Cody Thompson out with an injury for most of the season and broke out for Toledo. The sophomore caught 72 passes for 1,257 yards and 13 touchdowns. He is a smaller slot receiver candidate for the NFL
 
He was in for a visit I don't know why anyone would be shocked we picked him. The Steelers have their own board who cares where he was taken in stupid mocks. I seen Mecole Hardman go in the 6th round he got taken in 2nd round. Steelers stay true to their board which doesn't always pan out but they've been pretty successful on the WR front.

Kid has almost unfair short area quickness. He’s basically baby AB. Let’s see if he can live up to that. I’m not gonna say it’s terrible but I def had a draft crush on Butler

And they used the pick from the AB trade to pick him. somewhere in there is a **** you AB
 
Seems like a huge reach. I was thinking they take Winovich and then a CB with the next pick. There's still some good CBs left but something gets pushed back to round 4 now.

This seems like a guy the steelers targeted when this pick was an "extra" pick, just like they've used the extra 3rd on luxuries like QB or P in years past. Probably should have adjusted the strategy when they traded away their 2nd rounder
