While I don't deny that the sniveling Ugg boy will be in Canton some day, there is no denying Ben will be wearing that gold jacket shortly after he hangs it up.

How many others on that list will be there?

LMAO, Ben had bad #'s in super bowl 40 for sure, but he still made plays he set up and scored our first TD on a 3rd and 28 where he kept the play alive until the last possible second and hit Ward to convert, he clipped their safety just enough on the EL to Ward TD to give El a clean throw. Ben checked to the Parker TD run, per Faneca.
Haters have to hate, he'll be a first ballot when he hangs them up.

Sorry, you want to take away his 08 superbowl run because he had the best D in the league?

He also had the worst offensive line in the league that year. No QB other than Ben even sniffs a SB win behind that line. And most of those QBs wouldn't be walking after a full season of getting smashed each game.

Think about it: Darnell Stapleton, Justin Hartwig & Chris Kemoeatu blocking in front of you. Takes some brass balls to even walk out on the field, let alone sling one of the greatest TD passes in Super Bowl history and in the final minute.

Which experts? Because just about every opposing coach raves about Ben & mentions him being a future HOFer in the PCs and all the pundits pretty much say the same. Hell, even Carr prefaced his idiocy with that statement. Denver's DBs a couple years back (I think it was Chris Harris Jr. & Talib) were asked who were the big 3 in the league, and it was Brady, Rodgers & Ben. I'd say opposing coaches and players are the best experts here.

He was running for his life that game too. Brady had some highly ranked D's those first 3 super bowls, I guess they don't count, none of Bradshaw's count then.

You know Ben will hear about it, with Rudolph as extra motivation and this to a lesser degree. Neither will hurt.

Its hard to say for sure, but I think one main reason for Ben to keep playing is to win another super bowl. While he's not catching Mr. Deflated balls, a 3rd ring would separate him form Drew Brees, and Aaron Rodgers on the topic of who was the better quarterback. He'd probably pass Troy Aikman as well.
