Dallas Cowboys release 2017 #1 pick......

Having been on IR for a year and injured before the season starts may have been a problem.

He's healthy now, Arthur Moats came in and was paid way less than 9 million and did better than Dupree, like I said any OLB on our roster will do what Bud does. Dupree has the second biggest cap hit on our defense this season I think, that's Pirates baseball idiotic stuff there.

Healthy, now. Oh, yay!. Part time playing and geta injured. Clearly, ready for FT playing.

Assuming this site is accurate, 16 LBs had more sacks in 2018 than bud. Some with more tackles, some with more pds/int/FF, some not.

If anyone could do what he does, shouldn't there be more than 16?

Changing it to DL drops him way down to 46, but includes several that don't even play the same position.

The idea that "anyone " can do better is ludicrous. Same was said for archer and the guy they got was worse

Methinks 'no'...again, we're not in every practice.

Seriously, if Ola and Elliott 'could do what Bud does' then why haven't either come on the field when TJ got dinged up??? I present to you, Chickillo. The absolute worst option at OLB we have on the roster, but his number is called every time before 92 and 51.

The coaches see more than we do is all I'm saying...

i gaurentee you that Chickaslow cant.

Dude, don't be so sure. LOL

check these numbers out.

Dupree's snap counts from 2016-now, he's played 1986 snaps, he has 114 tackles, 21 sacks, 2 FF, 5 PD.
Chick's snap counts from 2016-now, he's played 881 snaps(less than half of Bud's snaps and a decent amount of those are special teams) he has 62 tackles, 7 sacks, 3 FF, 3 PD.

I don't think Chick is very good at all, but he has more FF and 2 less PD. I can't find the actual defensive snaps for each without going through each game.

How many of them are being paid 9 million dollars, and are you looking at just OLB or DE's too? Alot of teams don't use their OLB's to rush the QB as much as we do.

You saw the list i posted. Very expensive to pay for that number of sacks or reasonably lucky in the draft. Some of them were 3rd to 5th round picks and still on their rookie contracts.

The list was every player in 2018 with 5.5 sacks or more. 2019 cap hit and position.

The list is LB's only, so DE's aren't included, the OLB's here are used like DE's.

He sucks, there is no way to defend the guy.

This will show def and st snaps by player per year.

Chick had about 1/3rd os the d snaps as bud in 2018

Im talking about the list i posted a while back. Month ago? Had every player with more than 5.5 sacks along with their position and 2019 cap hits.

You can sort out different players However you like.

Bud sucks? No. Disappointing, sure. Not worth $9m? I don't think you have ever seen me disagree.

However, i couch that statement with "what do you have to pay to replace him?". In most circumstances, it will be more than $9m, unless you want to roll the dice on getting worse performance.

Ola had 3 sacks in 4 preseason games a season ago. I didn't look to see what talent he was playing against.

Couldn't last a season as a PT player in the regular season, Injured and missed a lot of preseason this season. You want to roll the dice on that rather than spend $9m? That doesn't, particularly, hurt the team. If Bud were our worst problem, it might be worth it. But when you significantly needed to upgrade the ILB and DB position, **** no.

Coach can give you lessons on projecting stats from small sample sizes.

Helping you out.

Adeniyi in 2018 preseason. Sacked J. Callahan in the early 3rd quarter, with FF.

Al stats in game 3 were in the 4th qtr. Sacked luke falk (starting in the nfl now!) with 1:08 in the game.

Game 4 sack in 2nd qtr on someone named Gilbert. Game 4, not known for showcasing NFL starters in the 2nd qtr.
