I tried to research it but to no avail and I think it reflects poorly on the sports media they haven’t widely reported it already, but when was the last time a team was +5 in giveaway/takeaway and didn’t win (or -5 and didn’t lose)? Has it ever happened in the NFL? I suspect only the Steelers and Browns could pull that off.

I’m not getting the need to continue to bust on the browns losing streak on this board?
I believe we were the sorry team to put an end to that?!?
The last I checked a tie is not a loss..
Congrats Steelers!

It’s like the Steelers tried to give the Browns a win and the Browns just weren’t quite having it.

Steelers: “Best offer for your used car? Hmm, I’ll give you $5,000.”
Browns: “I’ll tell ya what I’ll do... I’ll meet you halfway and take $2,500!”

I read on another site that the Browns are 2-2-1 in games where they have a 5 plus turnover differential.

I believe the NFL record was something like 132-2-1, so the Browns are the only team that doesn't win those games.

I was off by a bit, it's 132-4-1. So two other teams have lost those type of games.

A perfect storm was brewing...a team that likes to cough up a game or two every year to a bottom feeder vs a perennial bottom feeder

We kept trying to give them that damn game but they just wouldn't take it. That -5 felt like -7 or -8. F'ugly

It's a good think we didn't turn the ball over 8 times. That's what it took to have the Browns beat us the last time...

Will be interesting to see how the Browns do this year. We should have won that game running away but we matched their ineptitude last Sunday but all that being said, I think the Browns might field a decent team this year. Maybe a .500 team...
