IMO, from a fans perspective- Rudolph started out at an acceptable pace last year. Then Fichtner stated telling what not to do, don't throw it in this situation, when you see this, don't throw to that position, in that coverage, don't do this, don't do that, before long he regressed to the point he held the ball way to long and rarely threw past the LOS.
Duck came in and winged it, that is why he became popular, defenses started playing him differently and he had a hard time adapting particularly under Fichtners tutelage. Enter Matt Canada.
Ducks Accuracy and his ability to quickly ***** are the reason they traded Dobbs. I am so glad they brought back Dobbs, I think he has a long future in the NFL- I just don't think it is as a QB- His calling is higher than that.
Both Duck and Dobbs on the expanded roster is the right thing to do in these Covid times.

SuperDave, I think you are right on the Fichtner part. For being some kind of QB guru he hasn't done much in developement of the younger QBs while he was QB coach. Sure, he whispered into BEN's ear long enough to get promoted but even now..... He hasn't done much to help QBs when in the new role.
It's NOT a secret Randy's success on offense is more keyed due to BEN's skills than his (randy) game calls and once he is gone Randy's offense will be dropping fast. It's no secret I've wanted change at both OC and ST coache's. I truly root for both's success as long as they are steelers coaches but also know there is much better out there.

Come on everyone we may realize Rudolph is not a starter but he came off the bench cold with limited time on the clock. Throw in how many snaps did he take during the week. Slamming a guy awful hard when you look at the situation . Dallas QB practiced all week , we decided as a defense to stop the run and put little pressure on the QB.. If you are going to hit on someone lets look at our defensive back and how bad they played.
