Really thought the Raiders blew it leaving the Ravens and Tucker 2:00+ minutes and 2 TOs to kick a FG.
If we beat the chefs we will leap ahead of the 3-1 teams with an afc loss

Well, I find little significance of this. Pats get Bready back and are still 3-1. It's not as if this loss is indicative of them losing much after Brady returns. They were using a rookie, low round pick at QB with a banged up thumb on his throwing hand.
Ravens? While the Raiders did us favor, they also did themselves a favor; they are now 3-1 and could compete with us for a wildcard or homefield in the playoffs.
So, while neither game is a bad thing for us, they aren't overwhelming significantly beneficial, necessarily, as well.

Yea, that was my original impression too. But they also happen to lose to them, way more often than not.
