.....does it make you feel a little less hatred for L. Bell?

They ran the wheels off Todd Gurley, and he did get his first big contract, but now he appears like he's starting to break down. We saw it in last
year's Rams' playoff run when all of a sudden, he stopped getting many touches. The Rams claimed he was healthy but no one believe it.

It turns out his knee(s) is jacked.

So, I know Bell's financial outcome did NOT turn out great for him (lost $14 mill last year but got some more guaranteed $ from the Jets than Pitt
was offering, I believe). But considering how it's turning out for TG, do you feel a little less angry at LB for how things went down?

Well, Bell signed for less than we offered him. Lost $14.5 mill. Bell was the biggest loser in his hold out anyways. **** him and AB.

Bell didn't gain money on sitting out. His current contract is for less than what the offer was from the STEELERS. I can't truly HATE anyone because that is how I chose to look at things but Gurley's situation has NOTHING to do with BELL other than they are RBs in the NFL. Injury is a part of the game / career / player. The STEELERS play their quality players a the legnth of their contracts so the "more" gauranteed money of Gurley's isn't nessecarily more. Bell lost all the way around and paid the price for doing so, the right to be a dumb ***.

DIC, you said it better than me. He chose to bet on himself and lost big time. Cant really hate him for it.
But you can sure hope he has some ****** years in new york

I know many will not like this but I don’t hate Bell,He’s selfish and what not but he sat out a year and did what he had to to get out of his contract

AB ? Whole other story

I don't hate ether of them. I just never want to see either back in Pittsburgh for all the stupid drama they caused.

You break it down any way you desire but by my math he’s playing for less money in NY.
He lost the 14.5 million from 2018 to never be recouped, and signed for 52 million over 4 years and turned down 70 million over 5 years. It’s not like we were going to cut him after the first year or two. It was something like 33 million the first two years. Yeah, real ******* smart.
******* mental midget he is!

And no I don’t want them coming back to Heinz Field unless it’s to play but never ever to be welcomed back into Steeler Nation. They do not epitomize what a Pittsburgh Steeler is about. They are both immature, self centered, not about team first only brand first
They can both stick their brands up their *****. *******!

And just think about the taxes he has to pay, as opposed to PA.

I don't hate Bell, but I do kind of hate AB. **** that guy with a red hot poker.

The Rams have never run the wheels off Gurley. The most carries he ever had in a season is 279. For his career, he averages only 18 carries per game. If you add in his 3 catches per game, that's just an average of 21 touches for his career.

Hard to feel bad for a guy who turned down the opportunity to make $14.5 million in one year and eventually took a worse contract than the one he was offered.

I don't hate either of them....but **** them both, me first pieces of ****

oh and the thread starter can **** off for bringing this bullshit up again

There was a new development. Gurley being used up brings some more things to consider. I am NOT a Bell fan, just pondering.

Everything has already been said about Bell regarding football.

As far as rap goes, the should be arrested for assaulting the mic. He's horrific. Banal mumble raps and zero flow.

Exactly, if you don't want to be injured, go do something different. I don't feel bad for these guys at all, except for guys like Shazier, but they know exactly what the risks are, and they get paid very well for it.
I wasn't really pissed at Bell for not showing, it's part of the CBA, he's allowed to do that, but he lied to his teammates and strung the organization along. Then when he became a FA, he took shots at the organization and Ben, so **** him, I hate him now.

There is a reason why running back's aren't as highly valued in this league as other position players on offense. These guys take the most impact and wear down faster than any other position. The sad reality for RBs is that if they perform well after being drafted they are lucky to get a big second contract and still be performing well.

I say guys in the league get paid what they are worth Most of the fans on here are going to get a rude awakening this year when they realize you can't replace 8 figure all pros with six figure journeymen and win.
