Our Backup running back to start the season is now rewarded with a Superbowl ring for being a bad teammate and locker room cancer.

Discuss...

don't give a flying **** about him.

I would have been pretty annoyed if he had been the hero of the game, but I don't give a **** at this point since his performance was completely forgettable...

It will be interesting to see if the **'s renew his contract.

LeGarette who?

Tomlin's folly. Give me Blount vs the Ravens and the Steeler have a much better game plan to run it, use play action, and such. I wish Tomlin suspended Blount for one game, and kept him as insurance. As it was we had no plan B when Bell went down.

This is rubbish. How did Blount fare against the Ravens when he played them in the playoffs? 3 carries for 1 yard. ****, Bell only ran for 20 yards on 10 carries against the Ravens at Heinz in November. We missed Bell in the Ravens game for what he brings to the passing game. Blount would not have made any difference whatsoever.

this...Blount does **** against the Rats in that first round game.

It is what it is. Gotta turn the page.

Our thank you card, for helping them win the Superbowl is in the mail.

Al,

The Ravens vs the Patriots in the playoffs was a passing game. New England down points early. When were they going to run Blount? New England only handed the ball off 7 times in the entire game. You can't judge Blount here.

In the game after Blount was the best player in the AFC championship game. 148 yards on the ground and three touch downs. In the super bowl, Blount had 40 yards to lead his team in rushing vs. a tough Seahawks defense. Clearly he had value.

My point is if we had Blount we had a capable back who knows our offense vs the Ravens in the playoffs. As it was Tomlin had no plan B. We picked up a guy off the street, and had no running game to speak of vs the Ravens.

Having no plan B is Tomlin's fault. He should have picked up a guy much earlier than he did.

Jonas ******* Gray tore up the Colts Coach...Blount would have had zero affect against the Ravens..knowing system or not..I agree a better back up was needed..I also think we should never have given shitstick Blount what he wanted ..but to even think he would have made a difference against the Rats..is flawed at best

The **'s and Blount played us.

Simple as that. Get over it and move on.

Just one more instance of **'s tampering. The Steelers should never have signed a low-grade doucher like Blount in the first place. I was against it from the start. You don't want to win with guys like that on the squad. I'd rather lose with character than win like the **'s do. That's the simple truth.

Your logic is off in so many ways. Again, Jonas Gray ran for 200 against the Colts. The Patriots own the Colts when it comes to running down their throats...it didn't matter who the hell was running the ball. Jonas Gray would have rolled over them if Blount had gotten injured on the first play of the game.

It's Tomlin's fault that he didn't pick up someone sooner? WTF? Tomlin was supposed to know that Blount would quit on his team? Blount was Plan B so don't sell me **** like Tomlin didn't have a Plan B.

If you want to place blame, it needs to go to both Tomlin and Colbert for signing such a turd in the first place. I'm fine with that but I'm not going to beat that drum because I thought it was a good signing (if not a low risk one) and that Bell and Blount would form a great tandem at RB.

Against a weakened Seadderall D, Blount didn't do much of anything averaging a measly 2.8 yards a rush. Against the Rats, he would have been pouting and useless.

Nah... think I'll pass.

Who cares, once he is dumped by the Pats* I give him a year before he is pawning his ring for weed money.

Blount didnt do squat in the 2 regular season games and there is NOTHING to indicate he would have been a factor in the playoff game. We had a poor game plan. Reminded me of the 2012 season when Tomlin played musical backs, same thing vs ravens . . .Tate, Harris, Archer, repeat. No one had a chance of getting into any kind of rythym. We should have used a plan similar to the 2nd reg season game: Pass heavy with 20 plus runs built in to keep them honest. I would have went with Harris almost exclusivly.

I think Blount signed a 2year deal with the Pats already.

Yet, somehow, oddly, that introduced "cancer" didn't seem to spread to the New England locker room. Must have been benign after all.
