Congrats To The HOF Class Of 2018, BUT.....

Jeff Red's Acceptance speech: My career was headed no where until I rededicated my self and after I was victorious against my one and only enemy, "the towel dispenser" all things seemed possible. If I was reborn and had to live my life over you can dam well bet I'b be a Towel Dispenser demolitionist and all dispensers would be functioning.......................or else....

Salute the nation

Dawkins just opened the door for Safeties There are barely any in the HOF. Lynch will have a tougher time getting in with Pola and Jeff Reed becoming eligible.

Alan will get in. He just has to wait a few more years. It was a strong class

Faneca > Boselli.

Easy call for me.

So Urlacher doesn't deserve to get in because he got run over by Bettis on one play in his career? Come on.....that's just silly talk. He was a dominating player for a decade.

No, no, not for simply one play. However, that was in 2005. He played until 2012. After that play happened, he wasn't quite the same force that he was from 00-06. Especially considering that Chicago made the postseason only once more after their super bowl appearance in 06, until the time he retired. I know, I know, team game, Chicago was a bit of a mess during some of those years. I just didn't see the same player during those times. I guess I felt he was a little overrated. Great player, who's deserving of a ticket? Sure. Punching a first ballot ticket? Hell no.

I agree with Ham that urlacher lost something after that season. I thought a lot of him too.

Not sure how the best player ever at his position has to wait years to get in.
