I did the research. Sorry if I missed someone else's post. This is the way it went down:
Lost: Amendola (575 yds 3 tds), Lewis (517 yds 1 TD), Nate Solder (can't gauge but started all 16 games), Malcolm Butler (3 picks, forced Fumble, 2 sacks, 12 PDef), Bedmosi (Backup nobody)
Got: Matt Tobin (0 Games started), Jeremy Hill (25 yds), Adrian Clayborn (11 tackles, 2.5 sacks)
For the difference they get 2 3rds, 6th and a 7th. The rich get richer. Steelers should have let Bell walk. At least they would probably have gotten a 3rd this year.

You could argue that notion but you would be wrong. They were both hurt more than they played. Green had 304 yards in 6 games. Burnett played in 5 games and collected 17 solo tackles with 13 assisted. So they both played in about a third of the games in their only season they played for us and collected minimal states. And their contracts were not huge deals.

I believe the compensation is based on the money involved in the players lost compared to the players added.
Both Butler and Solder signed pretty big contracts with the Titans and and Giants respectively. I do not believe anyone the Patriots added signed for nearly as much.
Yes I totally agree that it wasn't about production. I was highlighting that there was a significant difference between the players that left and what they brought in. That said, I have watched sports very closely for the better part of 40 years and I have never seen anything like the patriots in terms of making chicken salad out of chicken ****. They sat a significant part of their defense for the SB and lost. Did they take some criticism. Yes briefly and it was very quiet on their end. But they came back the next year and won it again and now they are getting a 3rd for him. The Steelers are looking like the Kardashians here and people are talking about 2's and 3's for a generational player. I got a feeling Ejacgate will end up with Kraft getting a Congressional medal of honor for exposing a human sex traffic ring.

Wrong. I called all of those players and more. By following your method, I’ve nailed every HOF player drafted in the modern era. All-Pro players as well. Your method allows me to state that without a shred of evidence.

MINUS 4 degree F here (that and eating the bacon, is my HIGH for the day) and yet my outdoor BACON cooker that has a Beacon is working just fine. 1lb of that savory, thick, smoked individually sliced bacon sizzling on the anti-grease soaking griddle,.......MMMmmmmmm. It holds up to 11 lbs so for each of you who think you can make it here, I'll throw another pounder on for yaz. You may wonder why the Beacon, well up here in MAN's country we get some pretty heavy snow and wind so it's not just for the helping to find the cooker in adverse conditions but I just kindA like the lighting effect it has PLUS its fun to look through the colored lens.
