Compensatory Picks. SB participants each gets two 3rd Rounders

I'm shocked that you've not yet gotten an offer from at least one of the NFL teams. If I were you, I'd fire your agent.

I did the research. Sorry if I missed someone else's post. This is the way it went down:
Lost: Amendola (575 yds 3 tds), Lewis (517 yds 1 TD), Nate Solder (can't gauge but started all 16 games), Malcolm Butler (3 picks, forced Fumble, 2 sacks, 12 PDef), Bedmosi (Backup nobody)
Got: Matt Tobin (0 Games started), Jeremy Hill (25 yds), Adrian Clayborn (11 tackles, 2.5 sacks)
For the difference they get 2 3rds, 6th and a 7th. The rich get richer. Steelers should have let Bell walk. At least they would probably have gotten a 3rd this year.

I would argue that L Green and M Burnett did NOTHING. If we did not sign them, we would have received a higher comp pick or more comp picks.

Note the words gained. If you sign cheap free agents, and lose players that sign elsewhere for several million or more, you are getting comp picks. Had the Steelers not signed Green or Burnett, they probably would have had a player draft in round 4-5 for a much cheaper rate.

You could argue that notion but you would be wrong. They were both hurt more than they played. Green had 304 yards in 6 games. Burnett played in 5 games and collected 17 solo tackles with 13 assisted. So they both played in about a third of the games in their only season they played for us and collected minimal states. And their contracts were not huge deals.

I believe the compensation is based on the money involved in the players lost compared to the players added.

Both Butler and Solder signed pretty big contracts with the Titans and and Giants respectively. I do not believe anyone the Patriots added signed for nearly as much.

Yes I totally agree that it wasn't about production. I was highlighting that there was a significant difference between the players that left and what they brought in. That said, I have watched sports very closely for the better part of 40 years and I have never seen anything like the patriots in terms of making chicken salad out of chicken ****. They sat a significant part of their defense for the SB and lost. Did they take some criticism. Yes briefly and it was very quiet on their end. But they came back the next year and won it again and now they are getting a 3rd for him. The Steelers are looking like the Kardashians here and people are talking about 2's and 3's for a generational player. I got a feeling Ejacgate will end up with Kraft getting a Congressional medal of honor for exposing a human sex traffic ring.

A few things. I was the guy who said trade up to get Ed Reed, and did the same for Earl Thomas. How did their careers work out? What you are referring to was a comment made during Troy's rookie season.

I was the guy who told Chaz to pick Joe Greene. I also told Chuck that Stallworth would last later than when he wanted to pick him in the first. I pleaded with Mr Rooney to pick Marino, but he didn’t listen.

See....anyone can play your game.

The problem is you didn't call those players but I called the guy I wanted in the draft.

You miss the point. Any contact a team offers limits their chance of getting a comp pick.

Wrong. I called all of those players and more. By following your method, I’ve nailed every HOF player drafted in the modern era. All-Pro players as well. Your method allows me to state that without a shred of evidence.

MINUS 4 degree F here (that and eating the bacon, is my HIGH for the day) and yet my outdoor BACON cooker that has a Beacon is working just fine. 1lb of that savory, thick, smoked individually sliced bacon sizzling on the anti-grease soaking griddle,.......MMMmmmmmm. It holds up to 11 lbs so for each of you who think you can make it here, I'll throw another pounder on for yaz. You may wonder why the Beacon, well up here in MAN's country we get some pretty heavy snow and wind so it's not just for the helping to find the cooker in adverse conditions but I just kindA like the lighting effect it has PLUS its fun to look through the colored lens.

Salute the nation

bullshit.

you whined, bitched and moaned before Troy even got on the field the first time.
His head is too big
His shoulders are too close to the ground (whatever that means)
He should cut his hair so his helmet fits better.

those were some of the things you said.

you also said that if Troy had cut his hair then Larry Johnson wouldn't have tackled him.

No, we can't look these up *different servers, different time* but you said these. Which is why so many of us take you for less than an idiot. And you've said you don't watch games unless you're at the bar getting a beer and wait for the bartender to come to you.

So, no, no one gives a **** about you wanting to not bring in "I Green" (hint, moron, it was Ladarius, which starts with an L), nor do we give a **** about you bitching about "M Burnett" or Burns or ...

especially when you've done so much schlong sucking of First Ballot Hall of Famer, Mr Gold Jacket Anthony Chickillo.
