Combine finally in full swing with the RBs WR and TE working out today. Steelers could use a WR for depth. They could use a speed guy and a return man. This draft is very deep so they could be able to get a good prospect late.

KJ Hamler did not run but his hands measured 9 3/8 which are some big mitts for a guy 5'8

Henry Ruggs ran in the 4.3 range as expected.

Justin Jefferson ran 4.44 at 6'1 which could make him the top WR

I'd love a RB with a high pick but the steelers seem to like what they have.

Jonathan ran 4.39 at 226 lbs. So much for my pipe dream that he's run poorly and fall to round 2 for the steelers.

Edwards-Helaire ran a disappointing 4.6 but that may not hurt him. Nobody thought he was a burner anyway. His game is quickness, vision and receiving skills.

Only RB if there is a top 3 down back sitting there with our 1st pick. Otherwise, don't waste a pick on a RB this year. We have plenty of horses in our backfield with Conners, Samuels, Snell and Whyte. Whyte showed some speed and good running ability (plus can return kicks) with basically no practice at the end of last year. Give him the entire offseason and give Snell his 2nd year jump and our backfield should be fine. Plus, if Ben is back, Samuels is a huge weapon out of the backfield they didn't use much last year.
