Surprised there are no college threads here.

Glad to see OSU getting destroyed by Iowa
Clemson was losing but now winning although NC State just scored
PSU vs MSU all tied up PSU driving in the 4th (strike that another int ugh)
ND crusing
OU vs OKSt 38-38 at the half with a combined 857 yrds at the half (defense anyone???)

PSU needs to pull it out and they will be right back in the middle of things, but not looking so hot at the moment

PSU is done. O-well there next year.

Their defense really **** the bed last 2 games. Although if the WR held onto the slant pass on 4th down they were in FG range instead of having MSU go down the field

Yes it did. but the O-line just isn't there yet. Ohio State lost, so all isn't bad. I'm so ******* sick of hearing about Ohio State an Urban Myers.

schadenfreude (look it up)

tOSU got their *** kicked .. I can live with that
Couldn't live with having to hear from all you PSU fans regarding how "unfair" this or that is in regards to your team. Truthfully, y'all do a "LOT" of whining when things don't go your way.
So, in my misery, I found joy in your misery.

Called it in the thread from last week. After what I seen last week from the PSU lines after the injuries it was no surprise to me they lost again today.

A team like Alabama would completely obliterate PSU on both sides of the ball so in a way it is saving us PSU fans some heartbreak from what would happen in the playoffs.

Same way I feel about any tOSU team QBed by one JT Barrett IV. A lot of folks in Buckeyeland were calling him one of the greatest after last week. I was like "same dude we all wanted benched for most of the last couple of years"? It is what it is .. Not too fond of Urban's decision to stay with the dude .. Neither tOSU or PSU would have been a good representative in the playoffs.

Well lets put it this way.....This year was almost a reverse of last year with PSU and OSU. However everyone was saying PSU had no shot due to no chance at winning the big 10 and what not. Last year OSU did not win the big 10 and lost to PSU but still made it in. There is definitely a huge national bias toward some teams. This year before today PSU's one loss was probably better than the rest of the one loss teams, but yet they dropped from 2 to 7. Obviously after today PSU deserves to fall wherever, but until this point PSU was probably the best one loss team.

PSU's one loss to tOSU was better than Notre Dame's one loss to Georgia? I think you're wearing blue and white tinted glasses. Even before today's events ND's loss was the better loss.

Edit: and to make it almost a reverse of last year, PSU would have had to win out (like tOSU did last year). Obviously that didn't happen. So, the comparison actually ends there. Don't you agree?

Its definitely debateable....ND lost at home while PSU lost on the road in a game there were winning by 11 with 5 mins left. Just for arguments sake we will say ND was the better was loss team. It still does not change the fact that PSU was basically written off after the OSU loss while the same thing happened to OSU last year. Also going into the OSU game PSU had the longest active regular season winning streak and had not given up any points in the first quarter. I am not a huge PSU fan just think they had been getting the shaft since last year.

I can respect your reasoning as laid out. I just think that a lot of PSU fans spend a bunch of time focusing on how they (in their view) get screwed and not focusing on the fact's (losses, etc) that led them to get screwed.
I'm a HUGE Buckeye fan .. But, this team (and the one last year) weren't worthy of a championship shot in my opinion. I believe it comes down to JT .. Others disagree. It really doesn't matter because these last three teams weren't solid enough in my opinion.. Bottom line

Any given Saturday - we're not exactly obliterating LSU right now; but I expect us to 'get by today' - the injury to Fitzpatrick is very noticeable in our performance on the defensive side of the ball...

PSU's offensive line is ***. They are bad, and have been most of the season. Fortunately, they had the horses to ocher come weaker opponents. Now that they are playing good teams, their weaknesses are getting exposed. They have a lot to improve.

Oh, and James Franklin is 0-9 vs top 25 teams on the road for his career. Wish he left that at Vandy.

Hopefully Big Ben and da STILLERS can salvage my football season cause the college season is toast.

I hope TCU can sneak in. I think they got shafted the one year. They could have a win against OU and OKst.

If my Dawgs can best your Tide in what looks to be the matchup in ATL.
I'll be confident. Chubb, Michel and Swift are very capable backs.
Alabama's defense may be the wall though.

As good as the win against Notre Dame has looked. I'm not sold on Jake Fromm. I have a Cinderella strike midnight feeling :/

PSU had 80 offensive snaps and Barkley only had 17 touches.

The Big 10 is cannabalizing itself this year. As much as the one loss threshold makes games critically important and thus entertaining, a 16 team tournament would create some really interesting first round matchups.

Bama has their two toughest games coming up and Georgia has a tough game next week. Georgia has the east locked up and if they beat Auburn I think they punched their ticket to the playoffs no matter what happens in the SEC championship game. I am still not sold on Hurts at Ala. The team is so good he is not asked to do much. He has only thrown for 200 yards once and that was against colorado state. He has also thrown for less than 100 yards in 2 games this year. His best game was probably against ole miss where he threw for 197 and ran for 100. I think that Tua Tagovailoa has looked like a much better passer in his limited playing time. If Bamas defense has a bad day and Hurts has to mount a comeback I am not sure he can do it.

Was too busy watching games to come here

Buckeyes and Mich St should be good one next week - now the games are getting good

My clicker got a good workout yesterday. Just about every game was good yesterday. Kinda wish there was a Red Zone channel for college football.

Auburn will be a tough test.
If the Dawgs do keep the streak alive, I'll be confident.

I do like what the defense has become. The secondary seems so clutch in key moments.
On the offensive side, Fromm is generally smart with the ball. He's had a few turnovers though.

Cannot afford those against stronger opponents

NO to the college redzone, I record all the games I want and watch them later at 1/4 the time a live game would take- nothing worse than spoiler ****

Why watch tee-vee any other way? FF through all those commercials and slow **** down only stopping for scoring drives and cheerleader upskirts.....can record 4 games at once, while watching a movie and come back and get them all from the start
