College Football Week 2

Until the Steelers find a long-term answer at QB, I'll be interested in watching the top college prospects.

Here's the top prospects for Week 2 per the NFL Mock Draft Database Consensus Board (https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2027/consensus-big-board-2027?pos=QB)

1. Arch Manning (1) TEXAS vs. Ohio State

2. Dante Moore (2) OREGON vs. Oklahoma State

14/29 191 yards 2 TDs

3. Darian Mensah (8-rising) MIAMI vs. Florida A&M
14/15 252 yards 3 TDs

4. CJ Carr (10) NOTRE DAME vs. Rice
16/20 253 yards 4 TDs

5. LaNorris Sellers (18-rising) SOUTH CAROLINA vs. Towson

6. Drew Mestemaker (30-falling) OKLAHOMA STATE vs. Texas

26/43 317 yards 2 TDs 2 INTs (6 rushes 109 yards 1 TD)

7. Julian Sayin (31-falling) OHIO STATE vs. Texas

8. Jayden Maiava (46-rising) USC vs. Louisiana

9. Trinidad Chambliss (49-rising) OLE MISS vs. Charlotte

10. Drake Lindsey (80-rising) MINNESOTA vs. Mississippi State

31/48 279 yards

11. Nico Iamaleava (85-falling) UCLA vs. San Diego State

Josh Hoover INDIANA vs. Howard

6/11 145 yards 4 TDs (6 carries 18 yards)

Conner Weigman HOUSTON vs. Southern
I've seen enough of Arch Manning to know I don't want him. The INT wasn't his fault but I don't see a QB that stands out. Sayin is better - just sayin'.

Coogs rush for 388 yards and hold Southern to -6

77-6 final

good game to get a lot of players snaps and protect the starters with the trip to Lubbock to play Texas Tech next Friday night

That was about as dominant as a win that you can have…

Cougars looking good so far this year.

historicaly the coogs have played down to inferior compeition...glad to see that didn't happen tonight

oh and Oregon st just took the lead over Tech..Go Beavers

Texas getting throttled.

a man with a laurel wreath on his head is making a face
You were saying???

Mannings numbers would have looked good if it weren't for 2 drops Those cost him 70yrds a TD and he would not have had an int. He did overshoot some WRs, but OSU is certainly not a pushover. He played well at the end of last year and got revenge against OSU. He is probably not gong to be Peyton or eli, but I still think he has a shot to be good

It seemed to me that Ohio State ran out of gas in the fourth quarter….
Texas in better physical condition, especially in the trenches..

It looked like Kirk Herbstreit’s was gonna cry lol..

What a college football Saturday it was!
