College Football Week 1

NC went right down the field on the first drive with only one bad play. After that they couldn't do anything

Well, the nfl starts soon, and I try to enter the game chat here, and have to obey myself when I do, so, it just might.
I wouldn't worry too much about it DJ. I don't think it's envy so much when someone pulls against a perennial powerhouse, but a case of when the fans of these teams are of the bandwagon variety, and I don't think Berm falls into this category. Thinking of the time when everyone was a Yankee fan only because they were successful.

For me, it's my time at Pitt and laughing at all the Notre Dame fans (Pittsburgh residents) leaving Pitt stadium swearing like drunken sailors, and these were 50–60-year-old women that likely never went to college but were enamored by old Bing Crosby movies so they had to cheer for the Irish. No offense Dino.

I'm still pisssed that Ross Browner broke Matt Cavanaugh's arm in the first half of the first game in 1977.

A true fan stays loyal, here we go Stillers, and Hail to Pitt.

I think i'm rooting for Penn State to go 12-0 then lose the Big 10 title game so they do not get a playoff bye. I think that bye is dangerous. I'd rather they be seed 5 or 6 and get to host the 11 or 12 seed as a warmup.
No need to worry, they aren’t going undefeated. I was unimpressed with their effort against Nevada, the running game especially. The defense, aside from Dani Denis-Sutton was pretty average too.

They are switching defensive schemes. They have a new starting LB transfer from North Carolina. Their starting DT did not play. We got used to an aggressive blitzing style of defense with lots of tackles for loss. Knowles is a more pro style bend don't break. I'm not concerned with the defense.

Offensively, they had no film on Nevada. Nevada had like 50 new transfer players and it was unknown what scheme they'd play.

The run game wasn't sharp but they were mixing and matching OL combinations. If the run game looks like this in week 3, I'll be concerned.

All I care about in this game is we saw an expanded playbook and a functional passing game to WRs without everything having to be a play action to scheme them open.
