I've had a fairly regular trip wit ha couple of mates to see as many games as I can in a week. Six years ago it was Heinz Field and the Steelers with college games at West Virginia and Virginia, 4 years ago it was the Bears in Chicago (one of my mates is a fan, misguided I know), Notre Dame, and the Steelers at the Bengals. 2 years back it was USF, Florida State, the Steelers at the Panthers and the Bears at the Jets.
Three brilliant trips and this year we're coming over again. However the stars didn't align for college games and the Steelers or the Bears so we just decided that we wanted to go to Texas and built a schedule around that.
We have tickets for the NFL game - Falcons at the Saints, and we don't thnk that tickets will be a problem for the Rajin Cajuns in Laffayette. But the LSU at Texas A&M and the TCU at Texas games are starting to worry me. I can't find references to being able to buy single game tickets anywhere. Usually that's worked well for us, kept us away from scalpers and taken the stress out of it.
Does anyone have experience of getting tickets at either of those colleges and recommendations of what to do? I know that we'll pay for the LSU tickets just because it's two big colleges but I'm seeing stuff advertised at $400/ticket which is crazy. Any suggestions or recommendations would be welcome.
