Yep. I may have underestimated Clemson's determination. Still a tough road for them to go down five with under five minutes
 
Swinney, Saban and Kiffin all rub me the wrong way.
 
Alabama has a great team, but I think they let the fat kid from the local high school play RT.
 
I way under-rated clemson. I didnt think they would hold the playoff spot let alone get to this game and make it a good game.

Clemson surprised me too. I've been impressed with their outside edge rush on defense. They close in quick. That running back has a ton of heart too
 
I had this figured for an Alabama rout ... So yeah, Clemson has surprised me too. More so with their toughness and heart. Both teams played balls out and it's been a great game.
 
Somewhere Bermuda is drunk as a skunk in a barrel of rye. LOL
 
Clemson represented my state well. They showed that they belong. Special Teams really killed them tonight.
 
All those big plays... hard to beat that... those suck the life out of a team... work your way back into it a and a couple plays later you fall behind again

No quit in Clemson. If they can get the onside and a shot or two at the end zone. That will be a crazy finish
 
Would have been even closer if Clemson didn't get ****** out of a score before the half.
 
about as an exciting Championship game I have ever watched.
 
Klempson and Deebo go down, white trash guy that is annoying as he'll.
 
Clemson made the mistakes, while Bama didn't. Kickoff return, and short field touchdowns after the pick, and the onside kick, plus the blocked fg made the difference. That's a 24 point swing. That said, Clemson gashed the great Bama defense, like few teams I've ever seen. They just made too many mistakes.

Yardage gained does not equate to a guaranteed victory...The most points, however, does...:applause:
 
Saban's onside kick was the difference. I saw the TV interview and he acknowledged his defense wasn't stopping Clemson's offense. So was looking for a certain formation from Clemson, then pulled the trigger on the on-side kick.

Smart and very bold. But he thought it would work and it did.

Great coach.
