Fields sprained his thumb in practice the week before the B1G. He's had a little time to heal up. Not so much worried about him as the somewhat streaky defense.

What? From a draftnik perspective with teams loaded with NFL prospects I loved the watch. You don't care for a blowout sure. But this format gives us an additional game to look at and zero in on a.prospect. Gives the prospects an additional game to impress. Or perhaps we saw a concern. I will say I'd be ok with them expanding the playoff format. But love the extra game for evaluation purposes.

You have to put a Granny Smith Apple, 2 Sweet Onions, and a sprinkling of Light Brown Sugar and Caraway Seed in with the Kraut. I got my Kraut from Aldi. Imported from Germany.

Slow cook it for 5-7 hours until lean pork is tender. This year I used center pork loin cutlets and layered it with the Kraut mixture.

Damn it was outstanding.

College football has slowly turned into high school football in terms of competitiveness. Not just talking about the playoffs, which there have only been two one-score games in seven years. For the past three years, there aren’t even close games on a weekly basis. I don’t know how you fix the sport, but something needs done. Conference realignment and money have ended rivalries. Teams travel all over rather than play regional games where fans can travel. ESPN and conferences are only interested in promoting about 7-8 teams and will do anything to make sure they sit atop the standings each year. It’s become a combination of the NBA with a handful of super teams and the WWE being scripted with how the polls and playoff committee only treats the big boys well.

I get that the teams are not balanced, but as a very casual fan, I enjoy the game. I hate how the Irish always suck in the big show, but expect it by now. I wanted the Irish and Ohio to win, because a person gets tired of the same teams always on top.

I hope Ohio wins it all. I doubt it though.

My son streams lower conference games and says they are better. Most of the big conferences are a joke

The thing about Alabama is they dominate so much on the ground its just too easy. They barely made a risky play vs ND. I understand if you are a local but out of state. Thats like being a Pats fan to me.

So many people I know are Alabama fans. Some of them weren’t always Alabama fans. People like to cheer for a winner I guess. Bunch of front runners if you ask me. There is no good reason a guy from Massachusetts with no ties to Alabama is a fan unless he’s a front runner.

Depends on when they became fans

I grew up in NY in the 70’s with no real college teams there I liked Michigan’s helmets and decided to follow them with no ties to Michigan

If they are recent bandwagon jumpers then yeah I have a problem

I cooked mine in the insta pot. I used a bit of the kraut juice and a cup of apple juice. You can put brown sugar in or cut up apple if you want to cut the kraut flavor down more. I had pork chops hot dogs, and kielbasa in there as well and it only takes about 40 mins tops

That's 100% correct. And I will be honest I became a steelers fan in the 70's as a young lad. It wasn't exactly a coincidence. But after 40 years and lots of agony, I feel I've earned the right to be called a true fan.

I don't know about Fields. I've seen him look great and also not so great. He could be a bust. He could be Russel Wilson. I know he is smart and a good character guy, and apparently is pretty damn tough.

Trevor Lawrence is great. I was still scared of the funny looking SOB up by 4 TDs with 11 minutes left. No way he isn't the first overall pick, and an immediate improvement to whatever bad team he goes to.

I grew up shuttling between N.W. O-H-I-O and S.W. O-H-I-O. My grandfather (S.E. OH) listened to the Pirates on the radio faithfully; every game. Every Sunday during football season, it was the Steelers on TV. Loved and admired that man like no one else. Wanted to be just like him. My uncles (N.W. OH) were Browns fans. They worked hard to try to get me to be one. Bought me Browns starter jackets that I never wore, all that. From the moment I realized my grandfather was a "Pittsburgh Pro Sports Man", so was I.

Vegas had a wild swing? Last I checked it was 'Bama -8. That's not underdog status.

I'm not against a playoff system, so make it 12-16 teams. This arbitrary 4 team 'playoff' system is as bad, if not worse than the 'national champoinship' game we used to have. Limit 4 and 5 star recruits. Limit or reduce scholarships to championship teams, to keep this game competitive. I like PSU, but what is my incentive to watch football at all now? They have no shot really, as to people who like many other teams. PAC 10 schools? Florida schools? GA? it's just a bad product and it was made even worse this year with the Covid 19 outbreak.
