I don't like it. He is better than Jackson.

Even if so, neither one is very good. Crapernick's 11-25 record his last three years QBing and being out of football so long......... well he is a has been. He wasn't hired for a reason and his settlement doesn't prove he was colluded against. He is NO threat and would take that team backwards, not forwards.

Actually, taking them backward would be even worse. I don't want them getting any high pick shot at a QB - I want them to live with 6-8 wins every year.

"Steeler" is the correct adjective in that case. Not "Steelers". Same with Steeler Nation, Steeler game, etc.

A-N-D that is exactly what either one of them will give them, 6-8 wins a year. SO if you are not moving forward, .......... you are essentially going backwards.

OLD SCHOOL has always had / have them as the STEELERS , correct form or not. They use STEELERS as plural as in team, they nevcer refer to themselves in a singular way, similar to STEEL workers. Look at the OLD helmets, always have been and always will be STEELERS. Just letting you know how many see it.

Wasn't it SteelerNation until the Pittsburgh Steeler's couldn't get the copy rights from here so they started referring their fan base as SteelersNation?

Oh and just a reminder, the STEELERS have been around WAY LONGER THAN THE Steeler Nation phrase was coined. I understand how one wants the correct form with in hooked oh phonics context but some here, including me, JUST use STEELERS in any situation or form, right or wrong.

"Steeler Nation" was coined by John Facenda, the voice of NFL films not too long ago. Probably first used in the mid 70's.

If I recall correctly, they didn't even try. Didn't want to bother with it (and legitimize us) even though DD said he wouldn't have had a problem with it. I think it was less a matter of paying money to some jabroni from Ford City and more about driving traffic to a non-official non-team-controlled website. When the original Steelers board went down, DD offered to make this the official team board and run it simply in exchange for two season tickets and they said no.
