Coaches veto QB sneak??

They haven't done QB sneaks for years. I've been complaining about it.. Ben is a big guy. Look at Marsha and others. They run it all the time and are very successful. There is NO reason for our coaches not to run QB sneaks. I was pissed when I read that earlier this week. Ben is willing and able but the coaches are saying "no". And we wonder why we are unsuccessful in the redzone. It's the ******* coaches!

If Ben is able to do those QB sneaks like that, the coaches need to rely on him to get those td's. We are terrible in the red zone. We need to improve in that area. What's the hold up coaches?

I will say I understand the coaches wanting to be safe.

However, ironic how the word veto is used in the thread.

Ultimately whatever gets called at the line, Ben by audible, and can veto any play call.

So I find it hard to believe that Ben couldn't, if he wanted to, go in the huddle and tell the boys, QB sneak.

He must not love the idea of running it either.

“Those are kind of general staff decisions,” Haley said. “Some staffs choose not to let people earhole their quarterback in the side of the head. Other staffs take that risk at times. There is risk-reward with everything you do.”

Somebody ought to earhole Haley in the side of his head. I believe the reward would outweigh the risk.

Ben risks much greater harm every time he drops back to pass and holds the ball too long, which happens multiple times during every game. What a bunch of ******* nonsense.

Gee, antdrew, I thought "players play and coaches coach." Tough for a player to execute a play which the coaches won't allow, isn't it?

Then I guess the Steelers' coaches do live in their fears, after all. So much for that bullshit.

What year was that, btw?
