The Browns got too greedy. They were going for 1st downs on every play. They would have been fine if they'd taken some 4 and 5 yarders.

But nooooo. Gotta get it all in one play. Too bad.

The Steelers would have been handed their ***** next week anyway. Tomlin would have had them asleep until halfway through the 3rd regardless of who they play.

And by the way, I expect Harbaugh will be sending Tomlin a VERY nice thank you basket. He owes coach dumbass his job.
 
People, the Browns put on a good show but they weren't going to sacrifice 5-8 places in the draft with a win just to help the Steelers. Ball at the 40 yard line and not one run. Beat teams like the Raiders and you won't be dependent on them.

And just on a side note, who the **** EVER bets on the Steelers to cover the spread?

Seriously. Under Bug Eyes, they're lucky to win a ******* game much less cover the spread.

Browns gave it a great shot. Should make for some interesting matchups next year.
 
The juggernaut Rats #1 defense allowed the Browns and Baker Mayfield to score 24?
 
**** call on that scooped fumble. I thought they had it. They played very well. If Mayfield is up and left with that out throw to Landry, they get a chance for a game win kick. Or if Njoku catches the back shoulder fade. But I have to give the Ravens credit. Their coach came up with a strategy to crowd the line and it worked. I dont believe their offense will work in the long run though. I've seen that before. Browns will be difficult to deal with next year and beyond.

Lol if you actually think the Browns cared about the Ravens or Steelers making the playoffs or draft position. The players on the field and the coaching staff plays to win because it's their jobs on the line.

I agree they do curious why they didn’t at least attempt the FG on fourth down for the lead,a head scratcher to me

Baker Mayfield had nothing to do with it. It's the coach who sent in the plays and had him slinging low percentage passes downfield when a run along with a couple of dink and dunks gets you the 6-10 yards needed to at least get you into outer FG range, then if you get the first down you take it from there and try for a few extra yards. The Browns never put themselves in a position to win after they reached the 39 yard line. Beat the Raiders and you're not dealing with this nonsense.

Ok, we'll put you down in the "teams never tank for draft position when they have nothing to play for" mindset. You might want to talk to the 2011 Indianapolis Colts. I might generally agree with you when it comes to most teams but this is the Clowns organization were talking about here, not normal people. They're notorious for tanking and sticking it to the Steelers when they can.
