Klemm fills the position formerly filled by Sarrett when he was the assistant coach under Mike Munchak, and Klemm brings a wealth of knowledge to the Steelers both as a coach and player.

He spent 2012-2016 at UCLA as a run game specialist/assistant head coach, this under Jim Mora Jr. He also coached with now secondary coach for the Steelers Tom Bradley.

Klemm also has extensive playing experience in the NFL. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in 2000, and won three Super Bowls with the team. He spent his final year in the league with the Green Bay Packers in 2005.

He will be teaching the O-line how to hold without being caught.

As long as he wasn't a cheats coach. I don't want ANYTHING to do with those ***-hats.

One quick concern with the Adrian Klemm hire. Guy hasn't coached in two years. Fired by UCLA in January 2017. Was suspended and NCAA issued two year show cause penalty for recruiting violation. May have scared schools off. #Steelers

hummmmmmmm

I don't know this new coach personally but he was suspended under disciplinary reasons. I hope he pans out and doesn't bring any "gray area" FROM THE CHEATRIOTS WITH HIM. Did TOMLIN follow up any type of checking him out or did he just go on Bradley's word????

I'd hire Belicheat tomorrow. He's forgotten more about football than Shades knows.

He's an assistant OL coach. Some of you act like he is taking over Tomlin's or Colbert's job. If he helps to continue the solid OL play, it's a good hire. Give it a chance. He's a Steeler now, not a Patriot.

Decision making does matter. Of course it is a wait and see. But we have seen the effect of bad coaching and bad player decisions. Two years off from coaching has to be at least a small concern. I am thinking Bradley put in a good word for him.

When Munchak was hired he didn't come with concerns. This guy does.

I'm more concerned about Sarrett and that they brought this guy in. He may be more qualified than Sarrett.

He was suspended for paying for training services and lodging on a couple kids the school was recruiting. It occurred during the spring practices/recruiting period and Jim Mora was the head coach. The school self reported the violation themselves. The amount paid by Klemm for those services was around 2k.

Yeah he broke another BS NCAA rule to help a couple kids, but’s not anything like what Carroll did at USC or Petrino or Pitino....at their schools.

Ike, thanks for a little insight as to the infraction. Assistant OL coach isn't a big wheel on the train but none the less a wheel. I'm always concerned on new hires good / bad but what I most would like insight on is how extensive did the STEELERS, namely Coach Tomlin do his homework on this guy or did he just take Bradley's word??? We may never know that answer and it is a wait and see as to the integrity & quality of the hire.

I don't think they would have hired if he couldn't contribute

For this team to be champions again, of course. Why the **** do you care?

While I share your sentiment, it doesn’t matter what the **** you want. I care because because I’m a quality human being. Thank you for asking.

A assistant coach with the Pats****** knows more about football than Shades. That's not hard to figure out.

Yeah because they all do so well when they leave and become HC's.....oh wait? At this point though, if it means getting rid of Tomlin I'm game.

Oh, I know that. I was one of the first ones to point that out years ago. But he would still know more than Shades.

Hiring an ASSISTANT OL coach hardly equates to HCing duties but I totally hear yaz. The little **** OC of the p*ts showed your proof and oh what a cluster fluck he did to DENVER. I think eventually he will be the one who spills the beans on the CHEATRIOTS success in cheating. It will be a money problem to get him talking but he will be the talker. Just my thoughts

Bilicheck only allows his inner circle, Adams, Kraft and probably Brady. Getting caught taught Bilicheck that the OC and DC needs to be just be given the data to whomever they are game planning for.
